It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

You know what the thing about wunderwaffe was? EVEN IF you buy into them being incredible technical achievements (and outside of the rocketry and jet programmes I’m not totally convinced they were) they didn’t fucking work! They were vast wastes of resources spent in an unwinnable war!
