I just watched a combo of MS NOW and CNN as they tried to cover the WH Correspondent’s Dinner. I had always been a huge supporter of free and honest journalism in this country but my respect for our journalists was multiplied by a million tonight. And my opinion of the POTUS has hit a new low.

Has MS NOW considered picking up the entire “60 Minutes” Show, staff, producers, great reporting, great story-telling … the whole shabang … and transporting it to MS NOW for the same time slot on Sunday evening? That would be OUTSTANDING!!

“60 Minutes” is worth saving, it would be interesting to hear from Scott Pelley and Sharyn Alfonsi and Lesley Stall and Bill Whitaker and Cecilia Vega and Anderson Cooper and the entire supporting staff of investigators, writers and producers and know what they think would be the best new home.

Nancy Mace should take this idea to South Carolina, maybe outside her home. It might (?) be more accepted and representative of the population there than DC. This is a really BAD idea, just dumb!! Please do not let this happen.

Just saying … MSNBC “The Weeknight”, tonight (Monday), was a GREAT show!!! Alicia, Michael, and Symone had a terrific guest list, they all showed up ready to chat with the hosts and contribute to the viewer’s ability to learn the status of life in this country, such as it is. Thank you, All!

What would be truly a wonderful surprise (!!) is if the governors of the red states these wonderful National Guard troops call home would say “STOP! I was told our troops were needed in DC to address an emergency security situation … not to pick up litter. SEND THEM HOME IMMEDIATELY!” Odds of that?

HOW DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? The King wants pharma to invest in this the US. Moderna is based in this country and has been doing amazing work with a new drug tech known as mRNA. MAHA Jr just about shut them down in one swell foop. Have they not paid homage to the King yet … they saved his life in 2020!

It occurs to me that the tariff scheme is pretty much a federal sales tax on products … when most / all of us already pay a state sales tax on those products. Does anybody else see it that way? Does POTUS have the authority to create a new tax like that? What am I missing here?

Trump is pitching a regime change for Iran. Not that the US should have a “say” in that. BUT, I think it would be interesting if Trump, JD and the rest of the cabinet and friends would just go over there and move in, build Trump Tower, golf course. And US could have a POTUS election!

These people give no thought to how much a name change, whether stupid or not (it is!), to an established business entity would cost … all signage throughout the system, repaint all trains, change ticket design, etc, etc … likely millions of $$$$$$$$$.

I am so disappointed in Bill Owen’s’ decision to leave “60 Minutes” on CBS. I have watched it for years. I believe it is one of the best shows on TV. I trust them, have great respect for the entire staff. If CBS mgt gives into Trump by accepting the resignation, I will no longer be watching CBS.
