I’m an official ARC reader for You’re Overthinking This by Diana Urban! Our main character is snowed in with a handsome stranger, starts to fall for him, then discovers a woman’s body in his freezer! Is he a dream or a nightmare? Book available from all retailers on 11/19!

119/150: The Chase by Victoria Denault ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 5/5 A lovers to enemies to lovers story with an F1 driver and his influencer-turned-team principal. Super spicy and great use of the politics of F1 to advance the plot. A few editing mistakes but still enjoyable. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

118/150: Eye of the Bedlam Bride by Matt Dinniman ⭐️: 4.75/5 Ok, I laughed AND cried at this one. The series keeps getting more violent and more dark but still incredibly humorous. Entertaining, heartbreaking, hilarious, and gritty. A real page turner! #BookSky 📚💙

117/150: Revived by Samantha Towle ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 5/5 Another book that follows the classic romance format, albeit a bit darker than the first book in the series. Still, kept me turning pages and waiting to see what happened next! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

116/150: Cinder by Marissa Meyer ⭐️: 4.5/5 Cinder drops the reader into a world after the 4th world war, a world where cyborgs are shunned by society and Lunars, citizens of the moon, are the enemy. Political intrigue, romance, and action kept me riveted. Can’t wait for more! #BookSky 📚💙

115/150: Revved by Samantha Towle ⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 Perfectly crafted and seamlessly integrates F1 into the plot. Only thing that bothered me is the idea of taking someone back after leaving THREE TIMES?? But still, spicy, fun characters, and looking forward to the next one in the series! #BookSky #F1

114/150: Memory Catcher by Melissa Lam ⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 A very intense standalone book filling us in on what happened with Liz and Colton during book 3 of Trey’s story. Much darker than the other Zordi books but just as much action and romance. TW: SA #BookSky 📚💙

113/150: Jump Start by Kate Louise ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 3/5 GT driver Thomas meets his match in Harper, an investigative journalist. If you like fast cars, sarcastic banter, low stakes, and enemies to lovers, this is a cute one. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

112/150: Scrubbed Mind by Melissa Lam ⭐️: 4:5/5 🌶️: 4/5 The absolute HEARTBREAK in this one! This deviates from the second book in having way less action but much more emotion throughout. Also leaves things open for another series? #BookSky 📚💙

111/150: A Monaco Minute by Kaya Quinsey Holt ⭐️: 2.75/5 🌶️: 1/5 At least the author included more F1 this time, but just some of the basics that would fit into the story. Liked this couple better than the first book, but it desperately needed a line editor. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

110/150: Captured Immune by Melissa Lam ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 4/5 Great continuation of the story with plenty of twists and turns. Good balance of action and romance. Can’t wait to read the next one! #BookSky 📚💙

109/150: Maybe in Monaco by Kaya Quinsey Holt ⭐️: 2.75/5 🌶️: 1/5 Only connection to F1 is that the MMC is a retired driver. FMC is a total Mary Sue. And getting engaged after one kiss? Needed editing, as there was repetition, incorrect idioms, and unneeded backstory for side characters. #BookSky #F1

108/150: The Butcher’s Masquerade by Matt Dinniman ⭐️: 5/5 As the books get longer, you get more action, more emotion, more violence. This book has a good balance between comedic yet horrific destruction and deep reflection. I’m here for this, especially after the cliff hanger. #BookSky 📚💙

107/150: Throttle by Teagan Kade ⭐️: 3/5 🌶️: 5/5 Look, I love a good “bad boy” romance but this MMC had zero redeeming qualities. Loved the F1 plot and the banter, but just couldn’t root for the relationship. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

106/150: The Gate of the Feral Gods by Matt Dinniman ⭐️: 4.75/5 The story keeps unwinding beautifully as we add more characters, more skills, and more intrigue. Writing is still entertaining and funny, and you can’t help but love even the bad guys in this series. #BookSky 📚💙

105/150: Overtake by Monica Ross ⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 This series is the perfect balance of F1 and romance. Love the “rivals to lovers” trope in this one, as I don’t get to see it often enough. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

104/150: The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King ⭐️: 4.5/5 King took one of my more legitimate fears of being lost in the woods and made it into a book. Does not lean as heavily into the paranormal as most of his books but instead relies on a human fear of being lost and alone. #BookSky 📚💙

103/150: Hot Lap by Monica Ross ⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶️: 4/5 A well written romance with the “quickie drunken wedding turns into true love” trope. MMC is an F1 driver and all the jargon is accurate (don’t know what a HANS unit or FP3 means? The book explains without making the reader feel stupid!).(1/2)

FMC is a burlesque dancer and all the insider talk is accurate. Plus the OUTFITS in this book, OMG. Also, instead of trying to stretch the story over the entire F1 season, Ross keeps the action confined to just 2 races. Great read! (2/2) #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

102/150: The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook by Matt Dinniman ⭐️: 4.5/5 This one is a LOT more complicated than the first two books but thankfully you don’t need to necessarily follow the intricacies to get the full effect. It’s fun, it’s violent, and I can’t wait to read the next one! #BookSky 📚💙

101/150: Fast Track to Forever by Trinity Wood ⭐️: 3/5 🌶️: 1/5 Cute love story between an F1 driver and the hometown girl he left behind. Not much here and little to no F1 content. Desperately needed editing. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

100/150: All Fours by Miranda July ⭐️: 2.75/5 I get the good reviews, but this just wasn’t for me. Appreciated the openness about struggling with your identity during middle age, but other than that, it was basically just “woman discovers polyamory during midlife crisis.” Finished it anyway. #BookSky

99/150: Hearts Unchained by A.G. Starling ⭐️: 3/5 🌶️: 4/5 Another enemies to lovers story but particularly volatile. I mean, every date ending in the MMC injured? FMC was just hard to understand. Plus, you could have taken the F1 out of the story and it wouldn’t have made a difference. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

98/150: Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan ⭐️: 4.25/5 A great LGBT+ teen read that swings between heartwarming and angsty. Characters have realistic flaws and show growth as they examine platonic and romantic relationships and how to be your best true self. #BookSky 📚💙

97/150: Oversteer by Billie Lustig ⭐️: 3.75/5 🌶️: 5/5 Plenty of spice and plenty of F1, even if the plot was a little on the verge of dark mafia romance. Couldn’t really connect to either MC, but still found it entertaining. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

96/150: Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel ⭐️: 5/5 Every once in a while, you come across a book that makes you say, “I WISH I WROTE THAT!” This is that book. #BookSky 📚💙

95/150: False Start by Maggie Bradford ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 1/5 Sweet, heartwarming, believable, adorable, and plenty of F1 action! You gotta love the “fake romance” trope, and this one delivers! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

94/150: The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman ⭐️: 5/5 The emotion running through this book is devastating. What does it mean to truly love your child? What supreme sacrifice would you make as a parent? Is there a point where a lie becomes too much to bear? So much to unpack here. #BookSky 📚💙

93/150: The Home Stretch by Maggie Bradford ⭐️: 4/5 A sweet love story between an #F1 driver and the childhood friend he left behind. Tackles deep issues such as emotional trauma and caring for an Alzheimer’s parent. Focuses more on the relationship and karting than on F1, but it works! #BookSky 📚💙

92/150: The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett ⭐️: 5/5 This series just gets better! Characters are flawed, quirky, and memorable. Plot is fantastical and fun. Writing is crisp and witty. An absolute delight! #BookSky 📚🤣

91/150: Kiss & Collide by Amanda Weaver ⭐️: 3.75/5 🌶️: 5/5 Even better than the first book! Good writing style, good pacing, realistic characters. Plus plenty of spice AND F1! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

90/150: Wild by Cheryl Strayed ⭐️: 4.75/5 A story about hitting rock bottom and healing again. Cheryl takes us through the death of her mother, the end of her marriage, and her dip into drugs while detailing the discovery of her true self through a 1100 mile hike. Empowering and hopeful. #BookSky 📚💙

89/150: Fast & Reckless by Amanda Weaver ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 4/5 F1 romance lovers rejoice! This is a well crafted romance with believable characters, good pacing, and accurate F1 content. Looking forward to the next one #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

88/150: Carl’s Doomsday Scenario by Matt Dinniman ⭐️: 4.75/5 Things are getting much more serious for Carl and Princess Donut as they gather new skills and new members of the party while sidestepping intense political intrigue. Quirky, over the top, and just plain fun! #BookSky 📚💙

87/150: Ignite by Aarti V Raman ⭐️: 2.5/5 🌶️: 3/5 This would have been a good one but there were SO many editing problems. Grammar mistakes. Weird punctuation. Sentences that changed from first person to third person by the end of the sentence. It was really irritating. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

86/150: The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett ⭐️: 4.75/5 So glad to finally have time to start reading this series! It’s a perfect mix of epic fantasy and quirky humor. Characters are witty and interesting and the plot keeps rolling from one adventure to the next. #BookSky 📚💙

85/150: All to Play For by Josie Juniper ⭐️: 3/5 🌶️: 5/5 Not quite as enjoyable as the first two books. Plot was predictable and I just couldn’t connect with the main characters. #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

84/150: Craven Manor by Darcy Coates ⭐️: 3.75/5 Gotta love a good old-fashioned ghost story and this one delivers with a beautifully spooky setting and enough plot twists to make you wonder whose side you’re really on. Oh, to be able to live in a haunted cottage in the woods! #BookSky 📚💙

83/150: Coming In Hot by Josie Juniper ⭐️: 3.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 2nd book in the Frontrunners series, overlapping the events of the 1st book. Again, the plot is very soap opera-esque and there was less F1 content than the first book, but plenty of spice (starting in the first chapter!). #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

82/150: Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell ⭐️: 5/5 Loosely based on the relationship between William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway and the loss of their young son Hamnet, this book weaves words and timelines beautifully into a tapestry of love and grief. Sweet, tragic, and hopeful. #BookSky 📚💙

81/150: Double Apex by Josie Juniper ⭐️: 3.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 Fun enemies to lovers romance set in the F1 world. There was never a satisfying reason they started as enemies and a lot of the drama hinges into soap opera territory, but that’s what makes this kind of book fun! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

80/150: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green ⭐️: 5/5 🌶️: 1/5 Last read this about a decade ago and it holds up. There’s a lot to delve into here with both kids’ attitudes towards life, love, and death and how their parents cope with the imminent death of their children. Highly recommend. #BookSky 📚💙

79/150: Racer by Katy Evans ⭐️: 3.25/5 🌶️: 5/5 More romance than F1, which is good b/c most of the details about the races were wrong. I think the author lumped #F1 in with all motorsports and figured they were the same. Plenty of spice to keep you entertained but I kept getting annoyed. #BookSky 📚💙

78/150: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho ⭐️: 5/5 I think this is the kind of book that finds you when you most need it. This book really forces you to take time to sit and reflect on its message and what it means to you. It’s a quick read with just as much meaning as you want to give it. #BookSky 📚💙

77/150: First to Finish by Rebecca J. Caffery ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 5/5 Great follow up to Pole Position! Johannes and Caleb are such great and realistic characters and the course of their relationship is so sweet to follow. Plenty of spice and tons of F1! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

76/150: An Abundance of Katherines by John Green ⭐️: 4.5/5 Never thought I’d read a novel featuring math as a plot point, but it works! There are several r-slurs (product of the times/setting) so be forewarned. Other than that, a great story about heartbreak and learning who you really are. #BookSky

75/150: Pole Position by Rebecca J. Caffery ⭐️: 4.5/5 🌶️: 5/5 Perfect balance of romance and #F1, this book is great for fans of Heated Rivalry. Both characters have traumatic childhoods but are on different paths that eventually meet. Deals with mental health/therapy in a realistic way. #BookSky 📚💙

74/150: Red Rising by Pierce Brown ⭐️: 5/5 Fast paced, exciting, enthralling, all the good things! If you liked Hunger Games, you will definitely love this. In fact, this book goes where HG wouldn’t dare. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series. #BookSky 📚💙

73/150: Love In the Fast Lane by Sophie E. Mills ⭐️: 4/5 🌶️: 2/5 F1 drivers enemies to lovers story with a great plot about striving to win the WDC. Sweet, realistic, LGBT friendly story, and an easy read. Loved it! #BookSky 📚💙 #F1

72/150: The Treasure Hunters Club by Tom Ryan ⭐️: 4.75/5 Was pleasantly surprised. A fun seaside mystery involving several generations and a nice twist at the end. I know some reviewers were put out by some of the chapters switching into first person but I didn’t find it distracting. #BookSky 📚💙
