I swear, I’m trying to use AI in my day-to-day dev, but it keeps generating massive, over-engineered code for simple problems that could be solved in 10x fewer lines. And bad code too. I feel left behind, I don't understand how people manage to be actually more productive with this...

We're diving into education with @luna-park.app. Since we had so much great feedback from students and teachers, we held a workshop at an engineering school to introduce SQL and database queries using our visual editor and our gamified approach. The result was outstanding, students loved it!

Next week, we'll hold a workshop for a business school on frontend and building a landing page for a fake product. One part will be on our challenge (available at luna-park.app/challenge), and we developed a system to see which teams are ahead or behind the group. We'll see how that'll go.

We've come to realize that students are becoming increasingly harder to interest and are leaning more and more towards AI without acquiring any knowledge. This is a major problem: you are bound to be less efficient than an IA if you don't make any effort to actually learn and do by yourself.

That's why schools are interested in our approach: - we do fun workshops with a gamified take - with the @luna-park.app visual editor to focus on the understanding of the logic (not the grammar of code) - and students learn knowledge applicable on any programming environment.

I just updated the landing page of Luna Park 🥳 (yes, again)! It's fresh out of the oven: luna-park.app My big concern was that people did not quite get the difference between no-code and visual scripting... So I replaced the list of features with building arguments. I'm open to any feedback :3 !

I know the "if-else" pattern is a lot more common and simpler when there are few conditions, but I'm starting to really like this "switch(true)" pattern. I feel it's easier to read when there are a lot of conditions. Wdyt?

This December, I'll attempt the #AdventOfCode 🎄 with two objectives: - Learning Rust (it's been long overdue) - Proving some levels can be done with visual scripting I have no problem completing it with TypeScript or C++. The challenge is not about algorithms, but languages.

Working on the menu bar of the desktop version of @luna-park.app! It's weird to compare desktop apps with web apps... For example, there's usually no cursor change on a menu bar. Would it be better to keep the default cursor? Or keep the "standard" UX rule of webdev and use a pointer cursor?

Short break on the tutorial level design, I HAVE to build that desktop version of Luna Park... So here it goes using @tauri.app (I love it so much) For now, I just have the launch screen, but it's taking shape. Next step is to use the file system to open/save projects.

Still working on my tutorial. I implemented a system of popups and highlights to give specific explanations on any part of the editor 😄. I mainly used Vue's <Teleport> component, and Vue-Use useElementBounding() utility.

Working on the next version of luna-park.app tutorial. This map with levels will introduce all the features available, from frontend building to algorithmic and deployment 😄 ! Hopefully, this will be ready for December 🤞.
