Thorny Devil

Is it electoral interference if I beg you American followers all to vote? Mostly so I don't have to see the "nothing ever changes so I didn't vote" idiocy. And, you know, not constantly wonder if you're all going to get fucked over in new and exciting ways each time I check the news on waking up.

THUMP "Oh my god we hit a deer!" "Is...is it dead? We better move it off the road" *bushes rustle nearby* "No, leave it. Nature takes care of these things" *they stare out the windshield as RFK Jr emerges on all fours, sniffs the deer twice before dragging it into the bushes* "Majestic creatures"

West in peace, Chekov

Well I'm glad Eric Bauza got to go out on a high note with Coyote Vs Acme, though he couldn't have known it at the time. Heart health can come for us all at any time, really.

Wildwood is fucking incredible. The stop motion and artistic expertise is astounding but even if it weren't this is an amazing film. Sincere about its story, no quippy snark, several shockingly dark moments and a final act as close to a Lord of the Rings battle as well ever get again. Watch it.

So much for attending the Halloween parade. Family funeral time

You try a budget Wargreymon cosplay once and this is where you end up. WargreyHutch by @rumlockerart.bsky.social

Took two months but house is finally almost gutted. Just the kitchen tiles left to go, the wood to burn, the electricals to recycle, the metal to scrap and a hell of a lot of weeding and herbicide.

Oop. Tetanus shot time.

Seems we've added "Roadrunners final words to the court" to the "Iron giant sacrifices himself" and "the wild robot helps her adopted son fly into migration" to the holy trinity of "animated movie bits that make me tear up"

Enigma of Amigara Fault "this is my hole, it was made for me!" meme but the zoom out reveals it's the exit wound in Charlie Kirk's neck.

Well...that's a major setback on the house front. Fuck's sake, not even sure if it's possible now. Can't go one month without some fuck up.

big dumb puppy

Pulling out the corner unit in the dining room, didn't realise there was a power socket in the unit. Big blue flash. Cables are exposed now. For safety, I've flipped down every fuse in the fusebox. The entire house smells of burned ozone now. Fun. Damn, I was this close to getting superpowers

An Irish accent is a lot like New York and Boston? Preposterous, who could ever guess such a thing?

New beginnings ✨
