We were lucky enough that our circumstances changed and this flat was no longer suitable, so we were able to refuse it without penalisation. So now still waiting for an appropriate property to become available.

Listening to our 20 year old son and our 33 year old son talking about Pokemon… it’s like two 8 year olds in the school playground lol

My son @snekk.bsky.social would totally appreciate this. It’s exactly the sort of thing he would do 🤣🤣🤣 Nice work 👍

Chump is so against Obama. Doing anything he can to undo his work. To do the total opposite of what Obama did. If this is the case… Obama did a fantastic job of not giving me £1m. He was probably the best at not giving me £1m. Suck on that chump!

This chart about data center construction blew my mind. Watch.

Just scrolled for a couple of minutes and…. We are fucked! We are just soooooo fucked America… this is all your fault. This is why we aren’t allowed nice things.. You take those nice things and just totally fuck us all over!! Then fuck us all over some more!!!

Weather in Glasgow is getting worse.. storm incoming. It also means the amount of stupid driving on the roads is increasing tenfold!! I need a personal bleep machine with me today!! It’s just fucking insane out there!!!! Just because the weather is bad, does not mean you should forget how to drive!

See a dinosaur, post a dinosaur

Ruin a song title by adding “in my pants” to the title. Isn’t she lovely in my pants

Add ‘piss’ to a band name Radiopisshead

Drop some punches

Ffs… sold a vintage belt buckle in the shape of an Indians head on eBay on Friday. Was planning on posting it out tomorrow. The money cleared from it, so I spent it on necessities and now the buyer wants to cancel. Means I’ve gotta sell more crap just to repay them and that sucks!!!

@sadknob I know you just adored the detectorists. Just wanted to point you towards small prophets in case you haven’t discovered it yet. I’ve only done one episode so far, but boy.. is it good.

once worked in a scaffold & ladder warehouse after I left engineering. Started at 9am, fired by midday as they hadn’t seen my qualifications. when they did, thought I was over qualified & wouldn’t stick it! Also worked on a salad farm for 30 minutes trimming spring onions in a warehouse

Oh well… Here we are again… 4:20am on a Saturday morning… I’m in the usual 4:20am position, leaning against the kitchen worktop scrolling Bluesky as I wait for the kettle to boil. Not long until the first of the coffee is coursing through my veins

Really funny how Andy Burnham visited new college Lanarkshire on a day it was closed for holidays… And the only students that did attend were by invite only and had to hand over passwords etc to their social media to MI6 to be vetted prior to the event!!! #scotland

@realfollowers.bsky.social

Ok, who’s going to give chump his peace prize this year? so we can just get back to the normal levels of insanity from the American government… I’m maybe looking at you Aldi or LIDL

"Being poor is living in one long emergency, with no resources." An emergency doesn't ask if you've proven you deserve help first, it demands a response. A basic income is that response, a standing floor so no one has to survive crisis after crisis with nothing to fall back on.

Bloody ads on every app you use now.… what do they think we are.. fools? Think because they advertise on a game I play, that I will just throw my money at… oooh… holoxcel… I need one of them for Christmas.. that would look brilliant in the window.. quick.. must find money to get one!!

I can relate…. 55 years I’ve just been bottling it up. Don’t wanna be around me when that cork finally pops!!

Typical.. fell asleep while Spain are winning then wake up at half time and England now in the lead!! I must have been asleep for a while as I don’t even remember seeing the “hydration” break!!!!

after being in temporary accommodation since January, the council offered us a maisonette flat. Went to view it today. one of the neighbours was sitting outside.. she shouted over “good luck with the junkies from hell next door to you” The area isn’t great, the flat isn’t great. Fun times ahead! 😬

I bet Piddington didn’t get told they will get kicked out of Europe if they voted YES… or that their pensions and medical care would cease… and what about currency… what currency are they now going to use… because they can’t use the pound now!!!!

@sadknob.bsky.social still can’t believe you are doing one of my bucket list places to visit… and getting paid for it. All the time you are freezing your arse off, just remember that there is at least one person who is very very jealous of you!!!

That was just crazy, insane and very entertaining. Now to find out what the broadcaster is going to do with all that air time they need to fill 🤣🤣

Ed Sheeran singing on a crappy karaoke machine… coming to a stadium near you soon!!!

🏁🏎️🏁🏎️🏁🏎️🏁🏎️🏁🏎️ Really looking forward to seeing this later today. Max Verstappen starting at the back of the grid with 100 karts in front of him. I have no doubts that he will be in the lead by lap 2 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣 🏁🏎️ 🏁🏎️🏁🏎️🏁🏎️🏁🏎️

The banana splits are no longer opening for ed Sheeran

Well well well, look at Mr "Apolitical."

Introduce yourself with 10 acts you've seen live: 1: Michael Jackson 2: Kim Wilde (only because she was supporting Jackson) 3: Green Day 4-10: blank That’s it. I don’t go mad for concerts. Yeah, seen my son’s bands live plenty of times, but I think we’re talking bands that people have heard of.

Hmm, ok.. what’s going on with the seagulls?? Normally on my Sunday night shift, all I hear, anywhere I deliver, is seagulls squeaking. At my depot in Glasgow, at Wishaw depot, and especially down in Ayr. The last few Sunday nights, nothing. Not a sound. It’s like they have all just upped and left!!

Due to the rangers win over Celtic today, things are just going to be insufferable at work tonight. It’s going to be a long shift!!

Unlike you, I get my news from a reliable source.

I’m just about to sit down and organise 200 Bamforth saucy seaside postcards into numerical order, ready to add onto my eBay. Hell, this is like a Saturday night!! Think that’s partying hard? Just wait till tomorrow when I organise the uno F1 elite cards 🤣🤣

The Scottish citizen army can get to fuck and do not represent me!!!!

@simplemindsmusic.bsky.social son is working in a Glasgow studio this morning… says your equipment is filling the corridors 🤣😂🤣😂

What a race from Antonelli… just wow! 19th to 1st to win his home race. That was probably the best race I’ve seen from any driver. Just… wow

Watched “don’t look up” this evening with my son. Quite enjoyed it, but my brain just links it to our current climate crisis, where all the rich douche bags are getting the population arguing over what to do and not actually doing anything other than make things worse!!

West Midlands Police: “We’re aware of a video circulating from the Reform UK Conference showing an incident with a protester. We haven’t received a complaint but would ask the woman to come forward. Anyone with any information should contact us on 101 quoting log number 924-050926”

*sigh Notice on our works notice board informs me that I have to work another bank holiday at the end of this month!! I so love my job To my employer… 👇👇👇👇
