A special seminar in Marseille, reuniting with two incredible lab alumni: Aziz Moqrich, my first postdoc, and Bertrand Coste, who identified PIEZOs in my lab. The students brought food from their home countries for lunch. How brilliant!

March also means Brain Awareness Week — the 28th edition in 2026! 🧠 Our researchers and students visited schools across the Aix-Marseille-Provence area to share how the brain works, explore neurons, and introduce neuroscience careers to pupils from primary school to sixth form. 🏫🔬🙌🏼

We developed a new cell line that will greatly advance our understanding of #multiciliated cells. With this ressource and thanks to a great collaboration with Jean-Paul Borg, Stéphane Audebert and Luc Camoin we assembled the first MCC proteome;
