21st King of England (1189-1199). BRB, just popping out to sort out Jerusalem. Should be over by Christmas. Once that's done, peace will reign forever. Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Name a tv show Halloween special.

Got through all seven 90-minute episodes of The Big Show where Groucho Marx was one of the guests - a surprisingly good and very funny show. And now I stumble across a 1954 Groucho Marx interview! Frioday 9th April 1954, 10.30pm #PersonToPerson #TheMarxBrothers

And I can finally get to this. Produced by L Frank Baum himself, in the next year after it was published. Released 28th September 1914 It'll be another 8 years before Judy Garland's born.

OK, we know for a fact that Hal Roach is The Cowardly Lion. Harold Lloyd is also supposedly playing a member of the Royal Jury, but of course is impossible to spot. He is not the Tin Man nor the Scarecrow.

Ploughing through the 1951 episodes of THE BIG SHOW, the 90-minute light entertainment extravaganza and very surprised to find out that George Sanders (yes, that one) sang and wrote songs.

Great to see a newbuild in central London (near Holborn) carrying on the old tradition of putting the construction date on the drainpipes.

I was making nice progress on 1958 and suddenly... a tranche of 90-minute Groucho Marx radio shows* pops up and I have to jump back to 1950. *Groucho's a guest, but he's not a man to meekly stand in the background.
