It's funny when people explain how the shiny odds ACTUALLY work (ty for your service!) but when they get like a sub-100 shiny, they'll be like “the universe has given me this luck and now they will restore balance by making my next shiny so over odds that I'll wonder if they shiny locked everything”

My country (France) is going through some scary motions lately. The rise of far-right ideologies isn't exactly new, but the government & media are very eager to pin the blame for the damage caused by recent protests on the left. Elections are coming up soon and racism is rejoicing at the situation.

The centrist government has proven itself utterly incompetent in the past decade, which means citizens are going to look to vote far left or far right, and when the national media is picking sides, it doesn't make me too confident about the kind of country I'm about to live in.

My partner isn't French, my country is built on the very notion of equality and diversity, and yet a lot of people my age and younger seem to fall into the dangerous arms of fascism under the guise of "protecting the nation" from "those who would harm it" (read: arabs, immigrants. Not billionaires.)

🏆100% - Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) I didn't think I'd ever get a RetroAchievements badge for a Monster Hunter game. They're usually incredibly long games to complete, but MH3 is uniquely small. This set focuses on the single player section, which has no High Rank quests! My childhood MH game :) 9/10

Lots of people complain about the underwater combat of MH3 like it's the worst thing to be introduced to the series. I think it's fine! The game uses a lot of beautiful natural color palettes and grounded environments, which got ruined by cranking the saturation in MH3U. Monsters hit a lot harder!

Overall this game is near and dear to my heart, it's introduced a lot of really cool unique designs for its roster of creatures. Some of the coolest ones like Gobul and Agnaktor need to see some modern love from the devs! They've been left behind!

Reached credits on my childhood Monster Hunter game in 35 hours! There's still lots of things to do in terms of crown hunting, maxxing out the village upgrades, etc. But I'll focus on Multiplayer since I need to do a lot more grinding there as well. #RetroAchievements #MonsterHunter

Also, these postgame quests are kicking my ass. Did they forget to reduce the HP of monsters in multi-monster hunts?? How am I ever going to kill 2 Diablos? Guess the answer might just be crafting High Rank gear. Or maybe not wearing Barroth armor. Maybe.

Total: 68 shinies for #RumbleWeekend! ✨ I found 29 on-stream, and the remainder almost entirely in Silent Forest, where I'm offline hunting for Celebi. 27 were new shinies for my collection, 21 of which were found on-stream. #ShinyPokemon

I just passed 100 unique shinies in Pokémon Rumble! (out of 493) My most common shiny is Clamperl, at a staggering 28 dupes. My rarest shiny is either Feebas or Suicune.
