there was a period of time where my ears perked up anytime i heard "x game is getting recompiled for pc" but now i feel nothing.

the next smash bros game should bring trophies back. but rebrand them as "retro trophies" that prioritize low poly models and 2d sprites. i think that'd be more achievable and novel

resident evil 7 is officially the first RE game i've ever beaten! not including 5 & 6 as someone who was born and raised all around the new orleans metropolitan area until i was 25, i appreciate resident evil 7's attempt to tell the story of the average louisiana household.

pokemon legends z-a is 1 year old. it's the game that single-handedly brought pokemon back into the forefront of my interests. this game showed me that even games with a wall of flaws can still be something really special. it's a game that made me cry TWICE! also lida. lida is good.

if its true that Deadlock's PVE will be similar to Risk of Rain 2, then it may become my new hyperfixation. those character designs are genuinely so awesome, but i refuse to indulge in a moba again. im too old.

95% of AbbyLidatober is completely done and waiting to be posted. I can safely say that after mostly finishing everything I've developed a natural feel for how I draw Lida much like how I do for Abby.

This might be why Abigail clicked so hard for me too. Adventurous girl with a sword who has an affinity for frogs. Hmmm... Maybe Akira's 2027 ref will be very different.

I rewatched Amphibia for like the 5th time and now the bittersweet butterflies in my tummy are back. It's my favorite cartoon. It perfectly encapsulates the kind of adventure I as a kid would've wanted to go on. As a kid who grew up in south Louisiana catching frogs.

Feeling super inspired to draw characters I haven't drawn in a while, but I'm on AbbyLidatober and commission duty.
