Of all the details about the game, this one hurts the most. Wintory's scores are some of the greatest in the medium, and this one gives the Mass Effect formula such fresh sound and energy. The flutes?! In action scenes, too?!!

So here you go ... Thank you again to my friends at both BioWare and EA. To even dream in your sandbox was a privilege. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBO8...

Encountered this fella on the holotables for the first time. Certainly nothing like his father! And by that I mean he's fucking unkillable – even by the notoriously OP'd team such as Rebels. #SWGOH

Just learned that, in the Russian-speaking markets, #Ebenezer has been renamed to 'Scrooge'. But then, of course, they also had to invert the tagline, while still keeping it as close to the original as possible. So now it's: "Before he became known as..."

Finally got to take this test and honestly did better than I expected 😅 Even if some of the questions made me go like, "really, they already gave names to these side characters from Andor and The Mandalorian?"

Biddy Blas is making a strong case for the Glup Shitto Heisman. Let's go to the tape: ✅️ Little guy, big emotions ✅️ Funny voice ✅️ Delusions of grandeur ✅️ Pilot ✅️ Alien ✅️ Chip on their shoulder ✅️ Catchphrase ✅️ Looks like a Wacky Racer

So what exactly is it about, her rise or her hatemongering? Because these are two entirely different narratives. The "stratospheric success" of Harry Potter only matters insofar as it gives her bigger platform and financial means to pour into activism. deadline.com/2026/10/j-k-...

Randomly watching #KillBill for the first time in twenty years, and Part One might just be a perfect movie. Certainly among the greatest works of film editing. Playful, musical, coherent, effortlessly tying together so many visual techniques. A symphony of motion.

Meanwhile, the junior adaptation of The Mandalorian and Grogu by [unknown author] has quietly disappeared from all retailer websites. Making TMAG the only Star Wars movie in history without a novellization. How come, Lucasfilm?

Here are the post-release books for STAR WARS: STARFIGHTER including an Art Of book by Phil Szostak, Visual Dictionary by Pablo Hidalgo, and an expanded novelization by Delilah Dawson

One story that particularly surprised me was about how in the mid-1980s Oz was gearing up to shoot #LittleShopOfHorrors at Pinewood. Originally he wanted legendary cinematographer Michael Ballhaus as his DP, but the British crew rebelled (!), refusing to work with a German after WWII.

The 9 albums that shaped who I am. No soundtracks, because that would've been too easy. Also, sadly, no David Bowie, Chris Cornell or Nina Simone — they almost made the cut, but weren't quite as influential on me. Also, expectedly, no artists from the 21st century, because I'm a fossil.

Sometimes you just have to take a step back, breathe out and remind yourself that a lot of people have some really stupid, uninformed opinions about Star Wars. And that's alright. It's inevitable. Comes with it being the biggest film franchise on earth. (but boy is it frustrating)

"Rian Johnson is racist, because, out of all the children on Canto Bight, he highlights the white boy as a Force sensitive at the end of The Last Jedi"

Turns out, #TheBlacklist features the very first on-screen appearance of Gaten Matarazzo. Perfectly cast as a child suicide bomber brainwashed by a religious cult. Stuff straight out of The X-Files!

This is some cyberpunk-level megacorporation bullshit.

Personally, I would've been happier with Watts doing another season of Skeleton Crew. But hey, as far as reliable studio filmmakers go, he's a solid choice and has good grasp of those 1980s adventure movie aesthetics.

Jon Watts is set to direct ‘STAR WARS: EPISODE 10’. The film is intended to be the beginning of a new trilogy in the Skywalker Saga. (Source: www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general...)

I wonder if future retrospectives would call #TheDogStars one of Ridley Scott's most personal films. His grief over Tony's death and the civilization's decline hangs heavy over the narrative. And Brolin's character (a lone cynic learning to open up) is pretty much his alter ego!

Watched one of my biggest Ridley Scott blindspots tonight, #Legend (1985). Sadly, I was more baffled than entranced. Scott embraces the Henson-esque weirdness of the genre, but it makes doe-eyed Tom Cruise stand out all the more. If anything, this should've been Lili's story, much like Labyrinth!

Most filmmakers: "I really could use more time, but the studio has already set a deadline, so we need to rush into production" Ridley Scott: *moves so fast and hard, he scares the Paramount executives*

A recent patch has finally fixed Journey Battles for me, and turns out there's a whole micro-campaign based on The Mandalorian, complete with cutscenes?! #SWGOH

Oh yes. OH YES. Suffocating someone by embracing them tightly and pushing them into *yourself* is delightfully nasty body horror. I'm in!

What good is art if it's not about the artist and how they see the world?

TFW you spent most of the week trying to crack the structure of the story, and now finally all the puzzle pieces fit together coherently. (let's just hope the director and the lead performer approve it)

Went to a special screening of a 1969 Kyrgyz classic #AkMöör tonight. A cinematic poem of the highest order: told (and often sung!) in verse, staged like a theater play, framed like an avantgarde silent film. And Tattybyubyu Tursunbayeva is one of the most beautiful women to ever walk this earth.

Discussing my new work project with mom: –We'd like to use interviews to guide the narrative. –You could voice them with AI! –We hope to use animation, too, although it's so expensive. –Why don't you generate it with AI? –Sadly, there are no lyrics for this aria online. –Use AI voice recognition!

Watching #MariaByCallas for a little work project, and it's astonishing how much the real Callas in 1970 looks like Angelina Jolie. Pablo Larraín couldn't have picked a better actress for his film.

Mission Accomplished ✅ I've been spending entirely too much time in #CODWarzone the past few months, but hey, it's my last opportunity to do so before they discontinue the PS4 version.
