I fell off bioware games hard a while back as they got more polished and in line with competing rpg action games more and more. Last ME i played was 1, last DA was 2. And i liked them. But when me2 added ammo i realized it lost me, and da...nothing abt inq seemed interesting to me.
ok so looking over, really all thats left is to do the thing ive avoided most
editing the dang scene options and how they work. which ive been cagey on bc thats where its the most difficult to separate from any other firebrands hack.
like sure there are some ive got that are wholly my idea, but more than a few are just reskinned scene choices from firebrands or stewpot or whatever. and sure fine thats normal for hacks of games but i dont like doing it. yeah why reinvent the wheel but also i want my wheel to reflect me
Turns out to my extreme annoyance I seemingly didnt write down in any of my notes which aspect of the murder is revealed each round nor literally anything specific abt the two token types that are what the game revolves around
well, i guess i should be serious about working on and finishing she'll never go to hollywood, esp reading over my drafts and seeing how close to completion is already is.
so, in the meantime there's stuff that's pretty set in stone with the game as i finish tinkering with the roles and scenes ("suspicious activities" lol)
of that is What IS She'll Never Go to Hollywood anyway?
Well, as per the current draft's opening:
I find realis sentences make for the easiest notes shorthand
Whats the deal with this character, lets check these sentences. All the personality and backstory can come off of those and how they intersect.
Trying to find the most recent notes I did for she'll never go, instead find notes for another realis oneshot, where players would break into the sole tower that stands on the moon
My fav part of having tits is the occasional worry of "is that a lump i felt idk its kinda- do 'lumps' feel like that man should i schedule a dr visit fuck" cropping up
Ring is such a middling nothing movie idk how it became such an icon. Its a movie that makes you think maybe youd prefer the source book but knowing what that does with the virus shit for sadako i cant imagine it landing. Shit maybe the american ring movie holds up better ill see soon enough

People are talking about kids books… in Math Curse an unnamed girl has a life consuming ocd type spiral thing after a teacher tells her that everything can be conceptualized as a math problem.
Its funny how much I like fictional religious stuff. such a fondness youd think I was catholic despite how non religious I otherwise am. Nope! Sure I went to sunday school very very briefly, but also went to a quaker elementary school. And raised primarily by my jewish mother.
I didnt have a bar mitzvah (we weren't religious, nor had the kind of money for one, tho iirc both my brother got his in time) and have no desire nowadays for a bat mitzvah (iirc neither did my sister).
First five ttrpgs in the order I played them

2. Vampire the Requiem
3. Hunter the Vigil
4. Mage the Awakening
5. Changeling the Lost
(Those latter four all 1e)
my first five TTRPs in the order i played them:
1. pathfinder 1e
2. deadlands (I forget the edition)
3. vampire the masquerade (either revised or 20th, i forget)
4. shadowrun 5e
5. mutants & masterminds (third edition, i think)
A lot of ppl have only played old world of darkness (vampire masquerade, mage ascension, etc) but im a big fan of new world of darkness even if ive not really touched 2e beyond the God Machine Chronicle.
I could run a vtr campaign no prep easily, its in my bones
