Food Banks, like ours in Iowa, continue to say they “feed people”. They are wholesalers, run on donations, who buy food cheaply, leveraging their volume buying power, and then SELL that food to pantries who give that food for FREE to hungry people. Pantries feed people, food banks don’t.
