oh here’s a story that should honestly be its own thread but it’s gonna be a reply bc i’m silly: a lot of people don’t know that THIS GAME, Castlevania The Adventure, is the best-selling game in the entire franchise in spite of its insane levels of jank. people thought it was awesome at the time!!!

and so yeah, Konami was like “this game needs a sequel” of course, and so they got to work on Castlevania II: Belmont’s Revenge. people tend to overlook this game nowadays bc of its mediocre predecessor but if you haven’t played it before i implore you to give it a try bc it’s honestly underrated…

I’ve been burned twice now by things that seem really cool and i could easily see myself playing only to find that they’re made with extensive help from the fucking slop machine it sucks man!!! i can’t be excited about anything anymore without having to check if there’s diarrhea embedded in it!!!!
