I feel like I became less productive when I started watching Theo, ThePrimeagen, and others videos. Which is nothing against their content and everything about me being too easily distracted. "Oh new video, I'll just put this on while I work..." Then I just watch the video and lose an hour.

There was a time when people designed websites in Photoshop, sliced it into individual images and exported to HTML tables. It was a dark time.

I wrote a whole thread the other day about how I believe AI hype is over, how the NVIDIA keynote was the same as the last 2–3 years, and how consumers are bored with AI in marketing. Then I closed the tab by mistake and lost it. I didn't feel like rewriting it.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but I avoid using any XaaS where I can. I don't need someone else hosting my database, or my auth, or my SMTP, or my logging, or my analytics. 🙊

I love that you can use a domain you own as your handle on here. It's a really simple and creative way to do verification without a whole checkmark system and a lot of overhead.

Been testing @tailscale.com vs Netmaker. The latter doesn't handle double NAT very well at all, but the speeds seem to be on par.
