Was taking a nap and dreamed WotC had announced the creation of GathererAI, an AI bot they had come up with that would be exclusively responsible for updating and managing the gatherer and also be "a productive tool for judges during events"

I can vividly imagine Olivia complaining about this mimic and how the Church of Avacyn can't even be respectful enough to send human, blood-filled Cathars after her so she has a snack after defeating them
Olivia: The disrespect! Back in the day you'd defeat a Cathar in battle and you'd get all of their blood! Even a bit of fear and horror as they bled out, as a treat. Now they send a tin can after you and you're just meant to... What? Tear it apart and find someone ELSE to drain?
ONE, which was claimed to be "a set from a Phyrexian perspective," should've been a grim dystopian/war horror set on par with BRO (which executed the theme very well).
Lean into the exploitativeness, the visceral terror, of empire. The fact that literal Phyrexian infants are grafted to war machines.
Ral: Ok, but how does one just get over being compleated by Phyrexia.
Jace: Just think about it.
Ral:
Jace:
Ral:
Jace:
Ral: Yeah, I'm not coming up with anything. How did you do it, Beleren.
Jace: Just thought about it.
Your New Year's Resolution is to finally read Agents of Artifice.
If you have already read it, your New Year's Resolution is to get someone else to read it.
If we were to add up the entire population of every plane in the multiverse that we know of, I wonder what percentage of that total would be just Ravnica
Hey everyone! I'm starting an ambitious new project. I'm going to try to do a short on every character with a legendary creature card from the MTG Multiverse (and Un-iverse). If you haven't already, subscribe to follow the series.
To begin, Abomination of Llanowar!

Ravnica probably wins by virtue of its size, age, technology and long-term stability.
Avishkar and Kamigawa are strong contenders as well due to technology and standard of living.
Though Kylem probably has the best stadiums relative to the rest of the plane.
Like... You go to Kylem and everything is cool, but then you go to a stadium and it's COOL
You go to Kamigawa and Avishkar, the stadiums are state of the art futuristic.
You go to Ravnica, there multiple millenia old stadiums that can host 150k people
Tezzeret: With the power of Artifice I have transcended the weakness of the flesh. I now I require only the bare minimum of food and no more than ten minutes of sleep each night.
Jace: And have you slept ten minutes last night?
Tezzeret:
Tezzeret: No.
Alright, this was pretty open ended so I just looked up "pre-mending" on the wiki and went with something that seemed interesting. Apparently a guy called Leshrac had a big fight with Nicol Bolas, so here's some of that. happy crimbus

Rashmi: I can't believe they didn't approve my vehicle for the Grand Prix! This is unfair!
Saheeli: Really? Why don't you show me it, I can argue for you!
Rashmi: Sure *turns on a machine that creates a portal to the end of the track*
Saheeli:
Saheeli: Ok no, I can see their point.
AU where Jace is a streamer and occasionally streams with Loot and he just lets Loot play Geoguessr. Of course Loot is the #1 player in the multiverse and everyone in chat is baffled
For the 2026 Magic the Gathering set lineup, Wizards of the Coast is announcing a brand new plane, "just Brazil" which is, indeed, just Brazil. Not even fantasy Brazil, just Brazil.
It will not, they also announced, be printed in Brazilian Portuguese
Shilgengar, doing a group interview with a bunch a nobles: And how would you solve the problem of famines?
Noble 1: Rationing, I think.
Noble 2: Using magic to improve food production!
Edgar Markov: Id have the rich drink the blood of the poor.
Shilgengar:
Shilgengar: I choose you. Let's make a deal
