I was so tired after work today, and then my son made dinner for our family. It was sloppy Joe and chips, but it was the best sloppy Joe, because my son saw I was tired, and made it for us. ❤️

Our college cultural center is right next door to my house. I’m in my room, windows open on a lovely cool fall night & I can hear the hand drums from over there as our students play hand games, even as late as it is. I love being Mandan & Hidatsa. In every lifetime I’d choose it. ❤️🫶🏾

Millionaires and billionaires ain’t gonna save us; if they were, they would’ve done it already. The ones who will help, are going to be regular people. You and me. People with good hearts. Showing up in a million and a billion little ways.

Full house at our session. 107 people added us to their schedule, and it was standing room only. So wild. 🤯 Huge thank you to everyone who came, to ATALM, and of course, to my amazing colleagues.

Even the more forceful criticism of this war from elected officials isn't bringing up that we just killed more children than the Sandy Hook, Uvalde, Parkland, and Columbine shootings combined, which is intensely dispiriting in its own right.
