The macOS built-in curl, git, pip, python3, perl, ruby, and openssl all read /etc/ssl/cert.pem, which still has the emSign root, but they don't check revocation like Apple's Secure Transport libraries. This is, uh, a problem. git and pip especially. I added a short-term workaround to this page.

If you want to understand their plan, you need to read up on the Dark Enlightenment and a figure named Curtis Yarvin, whom Peter Thiel has openly acknowledged supporting. This isn’t a conspiracy or hyperbole—Thiel is on the record expressing support for many of these ideas.

Do you remember when we were told that if we gave the tech giants complete freedom from regulation they would create a world of freedom and choice? That wasn't the plan at all. And now we are learning just how dark it gets. charlieangus.substack.com/p/peter-thie...

Obama: "It's a reminder that on a lot of different foreign policy problems, the notion we can just bully our way or bomb our way to solution may sometimes seem appealing ... You'd think we would've learned that lesson by now, but it seems like every so often we have to learn that lesson again."

It’s really weird how all the influencers and personalities and think-tank freaks who are paid by billionaires and corporations never ever roll out any policy proposals to address wealth inequality or rein in the wealth class. In fact, they never even so much as mention it.

Wild that a class of people who became historically wealthy and disturbingly powerful by stealing our collective wealth could only think to invent a technology that aggressively steals all of our ideas and likenesses and work to create an addictive sludge designed to destroy us.
