Dropped off my ballot Wednesday at our County Election Office (I won't mail it anymore cuz reasons), and was so excited I missed the exit and drove over the curb as I was leaving. Got the stink eye 👀 from a local cop who saw it happen 🫣. My first cataract surgery is next month.

Donated four more dvd's to my library today. Walked out with eight more ($1 each!). I love my library 🥰

In the last month, I have been in my Dr's office and 2 local (rural) hospitals, for routine Maintenance and standard non-emergency visits, and noticed something has changed. All 3 locations have switched their waiting-area tv's from what was always Fox news to NBC news. This is good, yes? 😀

Obvs I know this is just more AI crap, but what is the backstop in place to prevent him from just arbitrarily using the nuclear launch codes if he hops further down the dementia-trail? My searches on the subject have left me confused. Or maybe it's just my Sunday spaciness.

OK, this is now out of control. Rural IL, small town, not concrete everywhere. How are you folks handling this shit in big cities? I'm just staying indoors, with occasional short ventures outside after sundown. 🥵

💯this. It's why I won't be doing anything that celebrates this country on July 4. Except, of course, getting drunk and stoned that day if he dies.

Two thoughts on my first day at the gym... 1) On the treadmill, my feets are telling me "yeh, we walkin" and what's left of my brain says "if we walkin', how come the scenery ain't changing?". 2) I thought gyms were filled with hot men wearing short shorts. Apparently that's a lie told by porn. 🙄
