we are @fionatel.bsky.social and @petrathepostdoc.bsky.social, a duo of geneticists from Cambridge (the UK one) that loves to do science arts and crafts, so we decided to open our own little business at the intersection of genetics, paleontology, gardening and more! theintrovertebrates.etsy.com

I will always champion human-made art, with every fibre of my being. I am currently in the process of planning out some free resources and initiatives to support folks getting into paleoart - stay tuned!

Belated #FossilFriday from the schools day at the Lyme Regis fossil festival, I ran an activity where the children drew what they thought ammonites, belemnites and crinoids looked like in life, we then spoke about taphonomy and how we figure out what extinct animals looked like from their fossils!
