My janky but effective audio occlusion system. Very few out-of-the-box tools for things like this. Google Resonance just does binary occlusion and Steam Audio does full (expensive) acoustic simulation. Where's the option for people who want something just good enough? #gamedev #indiedev #unity3d

You ever get that feeling where you solve a bug or finish a new system you didn't think you'd be able to and you just want to cry in relief and do an instant git push to make sure you don't somehow go back in time and lose it?

I really underestimated how confusing and complex light-baking would be. Combine that with a custom shader and trying to make sure everything is compatible has been a journey.
