Had a great time running the #HorrorCinemaClassics Do You Know Where Your Children Are? adventure yesterday! It was everyone's first HCC game (#DCCRPG vets & novices plus one playing his first ever TTRPG!), and we had a lot of creative fun with it. Carswell the Great didn't stand a chance

Special thanks to my wife for coming up with thematic weapons and equipment, handing out a (definitely not in the equipment list) bazooka, which nearly blew up a vanload of kids, and (unintentionally?) materials for an IED, which got shoved into a gremlin

The Trope Token concept worked really well, and was awakened multiple times by the players making really thematic choices, including right off the bat by immediately splitting the party. Everyone expressed interest in playing again. Looking forward to the full system, @waywardstudios.bsky.social

@waywardstudios.bsky.social Any guidance on running Do You Know Where Your Children Are? as a one shot(3-4hrs)? Not sure if I should cut down Act 1 to one event before the magic show or what time milestones you may have to make sure we get through Act 3 FYI the Discord link is expired on the site

You are up to date.
