Know it's little ol' me, but I just hit 1000 tickets created in Linear for @dewygolf.bsky.social; I'm astonished at the amount of work I've put in.
Just booked my @deepdishswift.com ticket and so excited to attend again in 2027.
Part of building out @dewygolf.bsky.social is building a process and task management system that is flexible, able to work on multiple machines/droplets. Seeing the system churn on ~40k golf courses has been rewarding and very excited to see new courses come "on line" daily.
I’ve optimized the map collection process to the extent that what was initially expected to take 30 days for the entire USA can now be completed in less than 2 days. Still have more processing/learning to go, but most courses no longer need human intervention to create, understand and validate them
@dewygolf.bsky.social continues to build out the v1 maps. Looking at this one honking course in Florida I'm excited by the results and the future of golf maps. All that hard work is starting to show up and cannot wait for what's next.

If you’re in the Boulder area this evening, there’s boulderOS @ 7. Also fun is that it’s on Apple’s Community Events page. More information: boulderOS.com
Of course if you want to see what all the people are raving about... check it out: apps.apple.com/us/app/spinc...
All set up for the Indie Dev Fair @ @communitykit.social Come check out @dewygolf.bsky.social and grab some early swag.
Spending this weekend on my @communitykit.social Indie Dev Fair demo. So fun pulling together ~8 months of work on @dewygolf.bsky.social Showing a v2 sneak peek at the fair, plus prepping folks for the v1 TestFlight the week of June 15th. Sign up: dewygolf.com/#newsletter
This morning, I had a meeting with my sister to discuss a new project she needed for a thesis/class work. (She’s a nurse; I'm not) I quickly used @heygenai.bsky.social's Live Avatar to create a mockup of an experience and test the idea. About 2 hours of work and up and running.
Printing my v1 model for @dewygolf.bsky.social maps. Really jazzed to see the numbers improve and all the hard work (hopefully) pay off with clean results.
Generally speaking I'm not a fan of Facebook, Inc (Meta) but their engineering teams are a bunch of wizards. Recently found this collection of tools I've pulled into a CLI // Skill partnership for my iOS-testing toolset. github.com/facebook/idb My skill//new CLI: github.com/ioloro/iOS-T...
Very excited to participate in the Indie Fair at @communitykit.social . See y'all there!

As I get deeper into maps, I keep learning new, cool things about how to represent relationships of items to one another. i.e. golf courses have (typically) 9 or 18 holes, each has a tee box, and green.
Sometimes there's other features detected within the concept of a hole and detecting/representing that is part of the (fun) challenge. Automating the collection, detection, analysis is a lot of "lift" TIL: Hungarian graph algorithms algorithms.discrete.ma.tum.de/graph-algori...
It might sound familiar from my @deepdishswift.com talk, but being part of or interacting with the community you intend to build apps or services for is likely the most significant advantage you could look for.

I got into cocktails during COVID and ended up with a shelf full of bottles I didn't know what to do with. So I built an app for that. Today's the day! Spritz is available on the App Store. Bar inventory, recipe matching, and an AI mixologist. Cheers 🍸 #Cocktails apps.apple.com/us/app/spritz-...

Just got home from @deepdishswift.com, can't thank @joshdholtz.com and Kari enough. Thank you! A great conference with excellent folks. Got the opportunity to talk about building apps for customers before you ship to the App Store.
Had tons of fun chatting with folks today @deepdishswift.com
Up next at Deep Dish Swift 2026! @ioloro.bsky.social is on stage with "Before the Code: Testing & Building a Business" 🍕
Beyond getting strings correct in localizing, the most difficult part is (was) collecting screenshots. Continued fun adding bits and bobs to my testing skill. github.com/ioloro/iOS-T... Also added some nifty instruments tricks I've found to make apps faster/more responsive.
After launching @dewygolf.bsky.social I think I'll open up a "Glitch Gallery" where I can showcase all my error art.
Direction of slope is key when you're considering hits, but also frost/dew/moisture impact. Been playing with combining a couple of variables to make heat maps of slope intensity and direction to better power maps in @dewygolf.bsky.social
