Closing the event, Dr Victor Dzau highlighted some final considerations: 1/ Monitoring and evaluation is crucial: we have the #100DaysMission Scorecard, which will continue until at least 2028 led by @impactglobalhealth.bsky.social following IPPS' sunset in early 2027.

💊 Therapeutics: The PARTNERS trial has opened enrolment in the DRC (MBP134 + remdesivir). EBO-PEP BUNDI has also opened recruitment for high-risk contacts in the DRC and Uganda, testing obeldesivir as post-exposure prophylaxis. 🧵 3/6

💉 Vaccines: The UK regulator has approved Phase I trials for Oxford's ChAdOx1-BDBV vaccine, developed in just 8 weeks with CEPI support. BD-EBOV-01 has begun recruiting 50 healthy adults in the UK. 🧵 4/6

🔬 Diagnostics: WHO has added the Ebola Virus Real Time RT-PCR Kit (Shanghai ZJ Bio-Tech) to its Emergency Use Listing — the first diagnostic test for Bundibugyo virus to reach EUL. 🧵 2/6

⏱️ Day 45 of the #100DaysMission Ebola Bundibugyo Virus clock. There are still no approved point-of-care diagnostics, therapeutics, or vaccines for Bundibugyo virus, but momentum continues to build. Selected developments since Day 30: 🧵👇

💉 Vaccines: CEPI and BARDA's open calls for further candidates have now closed, with selections awaited. UNICEF and Gavi have issued a joint EOI asking developers about plans to advance BDBV candidates to licensure, backed by Gavi's First Response Fund. 🧵6/7

On the WHO EUL pathway, six manufacturers have been invited to submit dossiers, with two tests now under active review: the RADIONE Ebola/Marburg Detection Kit (KH Medical) and the Ebola Virus Real Time RT-PCR Kit (Shanghai ZJ Bio-Tech). 🧵 4/7
