Niteosignumling, the Neon Lights Borderling. With its feelers, it draws brilliant doodles and writes messages in the air. It sends its firefly counterparts to send these messages to Witnesses and other Borderlings.

Something happened at the construction site. Yesterday was hot, triple digits even, and the news covered a mass heat-stroke incident over there. 2 missing, 4 in ER. A survivor blamed the boss. A bystander, a Witness, saw…something else at work.

… Curious, I opened it just to get assaulted by a blast of bright colors. My eyes adjusted to see an expansive room, yellow, full of colorful dots, rods and cones. In the middle of the room was the mascot. It breathed and moved as if it were alive. It turned to look at me… I shut the door and ran.

One of the Witnesses decided to take a paper (with an eye on it, of course) before the creature wakes up. When they brought it to their place for research, however, there was no blinking eye. It became an ordinary piece of paper. They cannot write for a few months, afterward.

Cassoscriptumling, the Calligraphy Borderling. It feeds off ink from sources such as newspapers and books and replaces them with nonsense. Witnesses, who touch one of its pages, will forget how to write in a short amount of time. #ISeeBorderlings
