alright it's on the mind i have to repost the video (volume warning)
every now and then steam recs me wizard101, which is funny in the sense that one of the other major F2P MMOs I've known and played as a kid is still ongoing, and scary because i get tempted to try it and actually do all the shit I got paywalled out of

www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XXX... One of the better model comparison videos. OP actually shows the way the models work. So kimi is surprisingly competitive, just with her own -isms. So if you're paying API prices, or hate anthropic...

PageRank was patented. Social media is beholden to the tyranny of network externalities. Phones? Laptops? Where do you even start on the roadblocks to that? But anyone with enough money can make a language model as good as GPT-3 from scratch in probably about a month, and then you go from there.

the idea of populism is that people *do* generally vote/act in their own self-interests but summed up over a population you represent the boader needs of "the people" Whether or not it works is its own discussion. But talking down on welfare voters probably means you hate the receivers.
Ethics aside, this take could use some contact with reality. Biden's expanded CTC didn't motivate recipients to vote to maintain it. Trump offered $5000 checks and it hurt him in the polls. The empirical claim that welfare creates single issue voters just doesn't hold up.

unironically people should try making the hardware vulnerabilities public. Private/state actors may have already found them. Doing this will net us mitigations, or more liberation of our own devices.
Are we not hearing about catastrophic hardware vulnerabilities because our hardware is actually that good or because people are holding them back since they're unpatchable?
