Early-career researchers are especially welcome. We want everyone to leave with concrete strategies for translating concepts between fields and for identifying the misunderstandings that tend to stall interdisciplinary collaborations. #philsky #philsci #philmind #neuroskyence #cogsci

This was fun and super interesting. Thanks to @ispsm.bsky.social for organising. Contrasting these two perspectives seems very fruitful. I strongly recommend @kathrynnave.eurosky.social’s book - an amazing read. (And open access, as is mine)

brb updating my cv 👀 The ISPSM was a lot of fun and even more fun to be able to submit a meme that matched my talk!

ispsm@ispsm.bsky.social

Oh, and for those who enjoy spitting their coffee out at memes, we have an absolute winner from @okaydaniellle.bsky.social 10/10, Danielle!

And just like that, ISPSM 2025 is done! Thank you to all our wonderful speakers and participants for making it the event it was. We are touched to be a part of all of your philosophical journeys, and will continue to strive forward in our efforts to make it is truly global community ❤️

Aaand last but not least, the excellent Zoe Drayson with the closing keynote on “Mind beyond mechanism: explanations in cognitive science” 🚀

We’re about to start the third and final day of ISPSM with our keynote from Mpho Tshivhase, who is giving a talk titled “No ghost in the machine: resisting digital appropriations of African ancestors” ⭐️

Up and at ‘em! We start the second day of ISPSM with a keynote from Ying-Tung Lin, on the self and other in observer-perspective mental simulation 🌸
