Good morning, Bluesky! Settling in to get through some emails and draft up my Steam Next Fest demo list so I can get to playing some games. Let's have a great Tuesday, shall we?

Feeling personally attacked by this amount of frost on the ground in October.

The training wheels are off, and I can now share my first major byline as a Books contributor over at ScreenRant! This is the first of a few freelance gigs I've got in the pipeline, but I'm pretty stoked to be returning to my bookish roots with this one. screenrant.com/best-dungeon...

New byline alert! I'm happy to say I'm going back to my journalistic roots, doing some freelance writing in the Books vertical at ScreenRant! Pivoting back to freelance is definitely a shift & this is just 1 of a few things I've got in the works. But I am excited! screenrant.com/best-dungeon...

Good morning, Bluesky! I will have news that I'm ready to share in a few hours, but as a teaser, if I may state this in the most Amanda-coded way I know how...

Getting a gaming website off the ground is no easy feat, so if you'd like to support my work, here is my Ko-Fi. With some bills on the horizon, I'd deeply appreciate it!

Happy Friday, Bluesky! One more day to crush before the weekend!

Morning, Bluesky! I had a lot of fun trying something different with covering chase cards for Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration. I pulled the 5 most expensive cards on the resale market and ranked them based on how cool I think they ACTUALLY are. Aka, vibes. bonus-action.com/feature/top-...

I just need every game to start the tutorial immediately telling me how saving works. Spell it out. Show me when it happens. Otherwise, I will be panicking.

Good morning, Bluesky! It's a rainy day, but I'm at the desk so let's make things happen!

Seeing the chickens get way up into the trees is endlessly entertaining to me for some reason.

Broke out the old Elder Scrolls cookbook today. Felt good. Also used corn & eggs from the farm for this!

Hi, Bluesky! While I'm still unemployed, I've been catching up on my anime watch list. So far, I've enjoyed Though I Am An Inept Villainess and am now making my way through My Dress-Up Darling, which is much cuter than I expected.

Happy rumored Ruby & Sapphire on Nintendo Switch day to all who celebrate. (I don't think it's going to happen, but you best believe I'm setting up my Secret Base ASAP if it does)

Moved the chickens to a fresh patch of pasture and this one immediately found herself a tree branch, as is tradition.

Good morning, I have injured my back tripping over one of our chickens. Aging is fun. (The rooster is fine)

Happy one month of unemployment to me! Time flies when you’re jumping through hoops trying to get unemployment benefits, applying for jobs, and throwing some energy into a passion project or two. P.S. I am very much available for all of your word-making needs on games, books, and food.

Hello happy October 1st. I will proceed to be even more insufferably witchy for the duration, thank you.

Hard to believe, but tomorrow is OCTOBER. This month's most anticipated new #book release list is up over at Bonus Action to celebrate. bonus-action.com/guides/most-...

My full review of the Astarion prequel novel is live now over at Bonus Action! I wrote this review right after reading the book, before the heated discourse started. Personally, I really liked it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ bonus-action.com/review/baldu...

LinkedIn out here emailing me like "Does hiring feel like a second job?" and first of all, I no longer even have a FIRST job, so maybe read the room...

Nothing says "let's fill out some job applications on this sunny Friday" quite like DJ Pikachu's full set.

It's really starting to feel like fall around here, and I'm not mad at it tbh.

All right, I watched The Love Hypothesis movie. And I... have some feelings. yourbookfriend.com/2026/09/24/b...
