with the new announcement of the hq hardcore remix pack over at sgfr, i have a kinda important announcement to make for anyone who keeps up with this: this is going to be the last sgfr album we maintain our tradition of making at least 1 track for each album, were retiring it after the hcrp releases

we made most of our tracks for hcrp without all of this in mind & didnt let it influence how they sounded, but weirdly some of them kinda ended up sounding like a sendoff of sorts to our consistent showing anyway. i hope u enjoy them when they release alongside the other tracks in the album

- from reaching our fullest potential, weve reached a ceiling & we wanna finally work on improving our compositional skills after putting them to the wayside for so long. its also become a lot harder motivationally to make tracks for themes we arent super interested in for these reasons too

the reasons r kinda basic & boring but ill explain em anyway: its mostly because its gotten to the point where keeping up with it for every album's become kinda a big hassle for us, it was manageable even when the themes didnt interest us that much back when there were still 2 albums per year -

its just too good. i love our instrument libraries that sound closer to how the natural instruments actually sound irl but theres smth abt how the roland ones sound thats just, so cool & fun to us idk, they both have their places in our plugin roster but dang jv1080s the real default go to 4 us

in 2 hours, the new sgfr arrangement album mii plaza palooza will start premiering to the public. the amount of tracks weve made for it is about a years worth of what our general music outputs been like since 2023.

to anyone whos wondering about some track credits of ours starting to read as things like "Izzyience ~ Luna" or "Izzyience ~ Lizzy" or "Izzyience ~ Ki" now as of recently, heres hopefully a bit of an explanation for whats going on there:

-reflects in the kinds of music (and art wholy) each of us make as such, "Izzyience ~ [Name]" is the new crediting system we all plan to use for the tracks we release going forward as each of us explores our own musical identities more. expect lizzy's tracks to be a lot more electronic focused lmao
