I’ve just walked the entire length of the Elizabeth Line train whilst it was in motion from the front to the back. #LifetimeFirsts

@miocene.io I just watched your CSS battle with @kevinpowell.co and was like wow! Then watched one of your videos - the dog one which was incredible. I'm just wondering what browser you were using in the video. Looks like Chrome but not quite Chrome?

@bell.bz I’m wondering if there are any plans to release that t-shirt of yours that you proudly showed off at #FrontEndNorth as I saw a comment that said August! 👀🙏🏻

📝 New CSS Article! Do you want to have an overview of what modern CSS can do? Check my latest article @frontendmasters.com frontendmasters.com/blog/infinit... Learn how I made that infinite marquee animation with less than 10 lines of CSS using shape(), sibling-index(), and more!

frontendmasters.comInfinite Marquee Animation using Modern CSSA row of logos that animate forever perfectly and don't have any duplicated HTML or JavaScript at all is quite a trick. Thanks modern CSS!

💡 CSS Tip! Create an infinite logo marquee using modern CSS and less than 10 lines of code. css-tip.com/logo-marquee/ Where's the novelty, you might ask? It's responsive, works with any number of images, doesn't rely on magic numbers, and you can easily control it using CSS variables.

Now at the #NationalVideoGameMuseum nearby with a cheeky can of beer to enjoy from #FrontEndNorth. Time to explore to see what video games I remember from my childhood!

Now for a fun exploratory process ny @joehart.bsky.social of making a FFIX game using HTML, CSS and JavaScript using the assets from a PSX game. The trials and tribulations to make something that can be shown in a browser using almost identical functionality as the game! #FrontEndNorth

Now as all of the talks have been completed at #FrontEndNorth, it’s time for @katiefenn.bsky.social to lead the applause for all of the volunteers, the speakers and the sponsors to make this event possible. I for one truly have enjoyed this day! 👏

Design Systems. Are they a system of harm? @amyhupe.bsky.social navigates through the issues that affect and excluding a wide range of people through bias. This was an eye opener. Also we should improve on inclusivity in design systems! #FrontEndNorth

Accessibility should be user centred not just compliance with WCAG audits as @craigabbott.co.uk shows us several examples of where passing WCAG rules doesn’t necessarily make a product accessible! Very enlightening! #FrontEndNorth

@amyrogers.design takes us through the challenges that a person can face without having a passport or a driving license. How Vouchsafe is trying to solve that problem and TIL Scotland has photo ID system that has many different variations! #FrontEndNorth

@whitep4nth3r.com takes us on a journey of the World Wide Web as if it was 1995! I’m very grateful we have CSS now and not Cascading HTML style sheets. Also loved the overscan effect that would come up on the screen intermittently. Press the degauss button on the monitor! #FrontEndNorth

After the break, I feel lucky that I have seen this talk by @ichimnetz.com and want to unwrap the wrapper from my own site to break out the boundaries and be more outrageous! #FrontEndNorth

I’ve ended up with so many code snippets from this talk alone to try out and see what works and why it works without relying on a default wrapper layout! #FrontEndNorth
