It's not just that he was such a great writer or the modern day equivalent of Dickens and Swift. He was very funny and probably inspired more writers than any other modern writer in England. I laughed so hard on the London metro once, people asked what I was reading. Plus genuinely a nice guy.

Why is anyone acting like this agreement is a real thing? It’s beyond reason.

Trump did not reach a settlement with the government. There was no case to settle. He has not created a slush fund. He has colluded with Todd Blanche to steal money from the US Treasury. This is not a “deal.” This is a crime for which Trump & Blanche must be prosecuted. It ia a crime.
