After the dust settles down, the French riots will be defined by the antisemitic thuggery. Fed by permissive, anti-Israel stance of Macron.

‘Bismillah, c’est les ténèbres’: clumsy mix of slang and poor grammar strongly mirrors the writing style of a young bi-cultural person with lower literacy. Of whom plenty were roaming and robing France from its legitimate protest-style democracy. www.euronews.com/2026/10/19/b...

OTD in 1939 USSR sent congratulations to Nazi Germany for their conquest of Warsaw. Imagine today Russia being aligned with the German far right..

Many Bluesky users, when they disagree with your opinions, choose to block you. Or add you to some kind of “evil list,” as a weird form of revenge. What they don’t seem to realize is that this is trackable. Simply ‘hiding’ a post or ‘ignoring’ an account is far more subtle and discreet.

This scheme has previously been successfully tested in Gaza: establish a large group of impoverished individuals, deceive them, instill a sense of desperation, and manipulate them to advance your political agenda through violence. www.euronews.com/my-europe/20...

For those who don’t know it yet: after the NATO conference in Türkiye, Trump walked into Air Force One in front of the cameras and, a few minutes later, secretly left from the other side of the cockpit… in a catering service cart, to board a different craft that flew him off. 😂🤣

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

The catering cart memes are doing me in ☠️😭 Please add any I missed in the replies. We need this laugh.

Telling it like it is. Always a good sign when women in top politics speak with one voice. Meloni has been unjustly labeled as ‘extreme right’ by some media for long enough, so it is additionally good when Frederiksen stands by her on the thorny issue of migration. www.euronews.com/my-europe/20...

We are all watching Wildberries burning, daily🔥🔥🔥. But there is more to the story: Chechens! Chechen involvement in Wildberries stems from a violent, high-stakes corporate power struggle that began as a bitter divorce dispute between the company’s co-founders. 1/n

Multiple Chechen associates were later arrested and sentenced. The Kremlin ultimately sided against the Chechen faction, granting official approval for the corporate merger and finalizing the couple's divorce, leaving Tatyana in full control. 7/n

Refusing to back down, Kadyrov took the unprecedented step of declaring a traditional "blood feud" against Kerimov and two other federal lawmakers involved in the deal. Kadyrov publicly accused them of organizing a failed plot to assassinate him in retaliation for the Wildberries dispute. 8/end

The conflict turned bloody on September 18, 2024, when Vladislav Bakalchuk, flanked by armed Chechen fighters and MMA athletes (some linked to Kadyrov’s Akhmat Fight Club), attempted to storm the main Wildberries corporate office in central Moscow. 5/n

The office was guarded by a rival North Caucasian faction—natives of Ingushetia and Dagestan backed by billionaire Dagestani Senator Suleiman Kerimov, who supported Tatyana Kim. A massive shootout erupted right across from the Kremlin, leaving two people dead and several others injured. 6/n

Seeking political muscle to block the merger, Vladislav appealed directly to Ramzan Kadyrov, the strongman leader of the Chechen Republic. Kadyrov publicly backed Vladislav, slamming the corporate deal as a "raider takeover" and promising to "bring the wife back to her senses". 3/n

He publicly assigned Adam Delimkhanov, a Chechen State Duma deputy and close Kadyrov ally, to spearhead the effort to reclaim the company. Reports also suggested that Kadyrov was motivated by a desire to protect hidden Chechen financial investments linked to the retailer. 4/n

In mid-2024, Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim (formerly Bakalchuk) initiated a merger with the smaller outdoor advertising firm Russ Group. Her estranged husband, Vladislav Bakalchuk, who held only a 1% stake in Wildberries, fiercely opposed the deal, claiming it was a hostile takeover. 2/n

Shocking truth: all levels of ruZZian administration, down to every local municipality, are working hard to meet the obligatory recruitment quotas.

Janis Kluge@jakluge.de

I analyzed dozens of reports from Russian municipalities and found a lot of fascinating insights about how Russian recruitment actually works. At the core, the recruitment machine is a multilayered system of quotas, going all the way from the Kremlin down to the smallest village.
