Wee Bonnie

What a fabulous day riding with a couple of coffee stops particularly one making fresh cinnamon doughnuts and hot chocolate, which was very welcome on a day that started with a frisky -1 to 0 degrees. We also came across some gorgeous bikes, particularly a pair of #Royal #Enfield.

Fish 🐠 and chips with the Scottish Café Racers in Anstruther! 🏍️ Probably our last outing of the year, given the nippy temperatures, although the sunshine 😎 was a welcome companion throughout. We followed the Fife Coastal Trail. A lovely day to round off the riding season! 🏍️☀️

Today we visited the new #Moto #Guzzi museum and factory at #Mandello, #Italy. A very impressive architectural structure, with enviable facilities...impressive!

We headed south from Edinburgh, on a 150-mile loop in the Scottish Borders, briefly into England and returning through East Lothian. Fab roads, and a Bronze Age hillfort with spectacular views. Finished with coffee & cake on a farm ☕🍰 #EastLothian #RideOut #Triumph #BMWMotorrad #IndianMotorcycle

A beautiful sunset...

During my travels yesterday I spotted this beautiful 1974 #Honda #Goldwing at the Welly Stop, #Tyndrum. On French plates, the rider was touring north to explore Scotland. I love seeing classic #motorcycles used as intended, with their patina, rather than over-polished and admired from afar.

Almost at Glencoe...

Finally back out after almost two weeks off the bike. Despite clocking over 1,000 miles on my Spain trip, I'd really missed riding my Bonnie. We made it to Lochearnhead before the weather forced a café stop (cake and coffee!) and a turn for home. Still, nearly 150 miles; not a bad ride. #Triumph

Came across this #chopper while travelling through Aberdeenshire a few days ago. I recognised it straight away from seeing it at the Edinburgh Motorcycle Show. Great to see such a memorable build out on the road rather than just on display.

Great day catching up with good pals talking motorcycles. Check out my mate's stunning #MVAgusta, crazy #BMW, and my trusty #Triumph #Bonneville. We also stumbled across a beautiful old #Lotus #Elan, which was a bonus. Nothing beats good company, great bikes, and a classic car to top it all off!

Sometimes the best views aren't planned. Parked up, looked up, and realized I'd found the sweetest spot. 🏍️☀️

Literally 'in the middle of nowhere'...love it!

Took advantage of a break in the weather to cross the border into England and visit Holy Island...just made it with less than an hour to spare around lunchtime before the tide came in, or I'd have been stranded until evening. Over 200mls round trip, exploring the Borders, with my trusty Bonnie.

...and now we're lost somewhere in the Highlands...😂
