Got #1 spot for launch day on Uneed 🥇 ...and currently joint #3 on the weekly leaderboard! Thanks for the support 🎉🙏

Bluesky Scheduler is launching on Uneed today 🦋 I'd really appreciate your support with an upvote 🙏 @tsanlis.bsky.social was kind enough to offer a free skip-the-line pass for Bluesky-related projects. Uneed is a great platform - thanks for supporting the ecosystem! www.uneed.best/tool/bluesky...

Had a super busy week, so I've been quiet on here Back to #buildinpublic this weekend! Today I'm polishing some rough edges on blueskyscheduler.com. Tackling a couple of UI bugs, more useful error handling, and allow saving a draft when it exceeds the character limit

Spent some time today on quality-of-life fixes. Also started improving the "draft posts" flow ✨ This is coming in the next couple of days 💻🌱 #buildinpublic

sdsa.ai has some AWESOME easter eggs Is it a marketing website, or a hidden cyber challenge? (well now I'm posting about it, so it's evidently good marketing!) /dev/agents is David Singleton's new startup (ex Stripe CTO). They're really sweating the details, and having some fun 😄

This is awkward... Indie makers, what do you do when somebody launches a product with the same name as yours? Someone launched "Bluesky Scheduler" on Product Hunt today, but I've got blueskyscheduler.com 😬 I sent them a DM the other day, but no response... How best to handle this? #buildinpublic

Did something I never thought I'd do this week - left a gig early 🫣 Last-minute tickets, changed my plans & got there just in time for the support (who was good!) Then the band came on and it was... so flat 😳 Stayed for ~1hr, then decided to cut our losses. No regrets (apart from the ticket, heh)

Okay, tonight I'm going to #buildinpublic a landing page for Bluesky Scheduler. So you'll get to see my design struggles, I suppose 😄 Wish me luck!

Anyway, back to building: I really underestimated how long it would take to write the copy 😅 Copywriting is not my forte. Or maybe the problem is indecisiveness (ha) Speaking of which: I need a second opinion here, any preferences? I'm leaning towards the bottom one b/c the spacing feels better...

Finished the landing page 💪 There are still a few things I'd like to improve, it's not polished, but I wanted to get something "good enough" as a starting point - I feel like I've done that. Fun fact: the first post in this thread came via www.blueskyscheduler.com. It forced me to get started 😅

- Added a subheading to showcase the benefits - Fixed the CTA - Wasted a bunch of time on a very annoying auth bug Need to add some social proof here, but for now, maybe I'll have some fun with it 😄

The annoying auth bug: I have a "sign out" link which seemed harmless: - Link to /sign-out - Clear the session - Redirect to homepage For some reason I kept getting logged out after clicking around a bit. No obvious reason, the cookie just disappeared Of course, Next.js was prefetching the link 😭

Btw, the homepage currently looks like this (...yeah, that's all I've got) I'm happy enough with the header copy, it gets straight to the point and I'm okay with keeping it narrow - for now, at least Need to communicate the benefits better (so what?) and the CTA feels pretty ugly (sorry button)

Tonight's goal: finish implementing OAuth for Bluesky Scheduler & make some improvements to the login flow after getting some useful feedback. Let's go... 💻🌱 #buildinpublic

Had a busy weekend, but managed to find some time to work on Bluesky Scheduler It's still pretty barebones but a few people are using it already (🎉) and I have a few free evenings to work on it next week. Where do I start... 😅

Been playing around with the bsky API tonight. It's cool that they actively encourage folks to build on top of the API. I can finally access my data again! #openweb

Bsky feels much more like a community than "the other place", even though I've only just started Then I realised - I'm used to every other post being an ad! It's practically unusable over there

You are up to date.
