The decisive test of our society in my lifetime was the 2024 election and our failure was spectacular and total. I will never again have any faith in the American electorate to do the obviously right thing.

The Supreme Court decision should have been 9-0. The fact it was 5-4 reveals how utterly compromised the bench is in favor of right-wing authoritarianism.

Acting normal in abnormal times is only further proof of the party’s growing irrelevance.
