Did a huge refactor and now I have baked tile lighting. I love the way it reveals ore as you mine now.

Some good progress during the week. Added a crosshair, breaking animation, and physically simulated items that drop and can be picked up. I also figured out how to make a radar/minimap by drawing directly to a bitmap.

started working on my entry for the gba jam 2026

Working on this project again. Finally added a notification toast system and used windows live messenger as my inspo. I want to recreate the frame around the profile pic at some point.

It works with the new area light and reflections too!

It turns out you can snap the LIGHT_VERTEX to the nearest tex coord to make it look like the realtime lighting is baked into the texture. I've been wanting this effect since I saw it in a minecraft shader years ago. Now I'm going to add it to StandardMaterial3D. #godot #gamedev

I made a lot of progress over the long weekend but I would have made more if I didn't make my reflection probe test into a bouncy ball. I have probably spent over an hour just doing this and tweaking parameters. #godot #gamedev

I was looking for something on my drive and found a bunch of screenshots from a project I abandoned 2 years ago. Looking through them is making me want to return to that project again. #godot #gamedev

I've been waiting years for the stencil buffer PR to get merged. just in time for me to redo my postprocessing stack with some crisp outlines
