The Democratic establishment would prefer to lose to the Republicans than to be taken over by liberals. Their enemy is the Democratic Socialists, not the Republicans. We've seen this before over the past 30 years at least.

It's amazing that women in some cultures manage to hold on to their birth name for their entire lives. They get married, don't get married, everything and still have the same name, just like the men. We ought to look into that. It would make things simpler all around.

My sister was a lefty and she solved the handwriting problem with mirror writing . You write from right to left, top to bottom, making each character the image of the normal way. Her handwriting was beautiful! In a mirror. Profs accepted it. She, of course, didn't need a mirror. Neither did I.
