I was randomly thinking about all the weird ass fighting games that came out in the 90s, trying to suck off the money-making teat of Street Fighter 2 and remembered one I was half sure I just imagined. But no, it was real. I was big into the 3DO when I started writing and I didn't hate this.
While I believe most LLM shit should be killed with fire, I randomly found this and it instantly moved right up that list. I can't wait to hear about the first Very Normal Human who marries theirs and believes it's sapient. Honestly, who wants this crap?
I don't pay too much attention to RPG Kickstarters lately, but this D&D expansion sounds very cool.

I have no idea what kind of sorcery was involved with this, but I think it's amazing. I never could get a Vectrex as a kid and always wanted one. To the point where if I saw one cheap enough (really cheap) now, I'd pick it up. #retrogaming

I don't consider myself the best father by any stretch, but holy hell this dudebro needs his ass kicked if this a real, unironic post. For me personally, if see a guy is one of these lazy, worthless fathers, I instantly write him off. He's not a man, he's a manchild and not worth anyone's time.
It's telling that men would rather try to invent tech to replace humans' role in caregiving than step up as equal partners in parenting. Telling, that is, in that it shows how financial capitalism and patriarchy work together to dissuade men from doing "unprofitable" labor, like the work of care.

Also, the story behind how the song even got out into the world is pretty interesting. Shirley Manson did a sadly short-lived, but excellent podcast and one of them is with Peaches where she talks about it. The whole series is worth listening to for people into (fairly recent) music history.
My general view of Marvel movies now (especially after Brand New Day) is Very Negative, so this makes me laugh, but really everything about this movie(s) has sounded idiotic from the start when they decided to recycle RDJr into Doom. It just such inane casting and has been downhill since.
Call me old-fashioned, but I think it bodes ill for a movie when actors who are sharing a scene never actually meet & don’t understand what’s happening in the story around them. variety.com/2026/film/ne...
