Got hooked on the last adaptation of #Carrie on Prime! They’ve updated the story so it takes place in modern times and it works amazingly well! Doesn’t take anything away from the @stephenking.bsky.social novel which I’ve read, it adds to it! Some outstanding performances from the cast too 👏👏

I just had the most random conversation with my mother, but both of us have noticed… our dog Ozzy, is ridiculously proportioned! Seriously, it’s about 8 inches long! Over half his body length minus the tail!!  No wonder he’s smiling!! 🤣

Seriously my new #Budgie is crazy, I didn’t think he’d fit in there but he proved me wrong…

He’s quite a unique little bird Rodney, much stranger than my other #Budgie! 😅

Finally the little sod has found his food bowl, 2 days of various different techniques and it finally worked!! 🤗

Really cute little bird, he’s sleeping there because he’s about 90cm from me! 🥰

Rodney is settling in well, obviously it’s all been a bit overwhelming but he’s just started exploring his surroundings #Budgies

I hadn’t said it on here but I’d actually been a bit worried about my dog Ozzy. He had been completely inactive the last 2 days, but this morning a totally different dog, I think it was the heat. But he’s been absolutely fine all today, back to his old self 😊

Temperatures have topped 38C today (the previous hottest day set on 26 June this year), hitting 38.1C in Kew Gardens. Officially the hottest day of the year. Climate change is real.
