My favorite @momentnotes.app detail: the splash screen perfectly aligns with the Today view’s empty state.
@momentnotes.app is launching on Product Hunt today! Check it out here: www.producthunt.com/products/mo...
Moment Notes TestFlight invites on the way
Me and @alecrichter.bsky.social are building a new app called Moment Notes. It started with a problem I kept running into: my best thoughts rarely happen when I’m sitting at a keyboard. They happen while walking, cooking, parenting, working, or thinking out loud.

It’s still early, and we're opening TestFlight to a small group of people who want to try it and shape where it goes. If you’re interested, sign up for early access here: momentnotes.app

The newest release for @subdivide.app brings Drill Mode to our click track system. Made for marching ensembles, you can now split up tracks by drill pages to set custom start/stop points, loops, or count offs for any drill set.
Been experimenting with hooking up openclaw with @craft.do's API. I write daily notes like normal, openclaw reads them throughout the day, pulls out action items, organizes projects, and follows up. Starting to feel like the daily notes setup I've always wanted.
Been having some fun with Subdivide ads, but Bluesky insists on making the music skip at the end 🫠
Finally, a metronome that changes tempo for you. No tapping. No guesswork. Just seamless tempo transitions built right into your tracks. Speed up, slow down, or shift on a dime—Subdivide keeps perfect time the whole way through.

Quick prototype of a new @subdivide.app feature in the works. Mute individual subdivision notes to create whatever rhythm you want. UI is extremely placeholder, but you get the idea 🙂 (Audio on 👂)

My good friend and business partner @alecrichter.bsky.social started writing his thoughts about his career, where he’s taking it, and more. It's called Half a Startup and it’s gonna be good. Recommend checking it out.
I started writing more long-form thoughts on Substack: open.substack.com/pub/halfasta...

Cookin’ on @subdivide.app 🍳
Work in progress of a new feature for @subdivide.app. The speed multiplier makes it easier to learn a piece of music by starting out slow, or work on mastering an exercise by speeding it up.
@marktomlinson.bsky.social has been doing some excellent work on the Posts-inspired Bluesky client posts-sky.vercel.app. The performance just got so much better 🔥 Super grateful to have an awesome dev helping out. And in case you missed it, this project is open sourced now!
posts-sky.vercel.app is now open source! There's still so much to do, open to any contributions or pull requests. I'm going to keep plugging away, but had to slow down on it recently. github.com/jamesjlyons/... Also, likes are live 💛

Chipping away: ✅ Profile feeds load on scroll ✅ Notifications tab loads "All" and "Mentions" Gonna smooth out some loading and performance before moving on to adding write functionality. posts-sky.vercel.app
Latest early build update: ✅ Replies on post views (layout got funky, but will fix) ✅ Reply, repost, and quote indicators in feed ✅ Profiles (feeds almost functional)

I've been working on a Posts.cv -inspired Bluesky client. It only shows @taurean.posts.cv's Posts feeds, so it should feel like home for those migrating from there. Still mostly not functional, but sharing early progress as I build it, and going to open source it soon! posts-sky.vercel.app

Tempo changes don’t have to trip you up. Break transitions into smaller sections, focus on smooth timing, and use a metronome with automated tracks (like Subdivide 😉). Master transitions with ease—read our full guide for tips: https://www.subdivide.app/blog/how-to-practice-music-with-tempo-changes

Introducing the slowest tempo you never knew you needed: Subdivide now goes all the way down to 10 BPM. Whether you're practicing patience or mastering that super-slow groove, we've got you covered. Ready to slow things waaaay down? subdivide.app/download

Started an account for the metronome app I've been designing → @subdivide.app
I have a couple codes for 3 months free of @kagi.com, anyone interested? Great search engine.
I made a performant pomodoro timer for the web. Won't lose time in the background (thanks to web workers), controllable via keyboard, and includes a brown noise generator for extra focus. It's free, enjoy ✌️ pomodoro.lyons.land #designsky
Also big shoutout to @emilkowal.ski for his Sonner toast component. I used Radix for this project, so it was super easy to drop in, and a huge upgrade to the experience 🙌 sonner.emilkowal.ski
