A message to the world: The United States is not represented by Trump. He acted unilaterally and unconstitutionally. He and his regime in power are not a representation of the American people, and we strongly condemn this attack. We want peace, and we will hold him and his enablers accountable.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care. They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family. Nobody has done more to find breakthrough treatments for cancer in all its forms than Joe, and I am certain he will fight this challenge with his trademark resolve and grace. We pray for a fast and full recovery.
