Tonight was an ass kicking. Brewers scalded the ball, had traffic all night. Rays just got their 4 runs (with help from error) in the first so it seemed like the Rays blew it.
⚾ Rays @ Brewers 10/24/2026 Final: Rays 4, Brewers 5 Deserve-to-Win: Rays 5% / Brewers 89% (Tie 6%) #MLB #RaysUp #ThisIsMyCrew
Fun piece, always enjoy Jake's work! This part got me thinking - the top of the Rays lineup might struggle with a lefty with who has an effective 4 seam at the top of the zone. Who does that sound like?
The Tampa Bay Rays are a pesky offense with some unique profiles, including a 40-home run power threat. How can the Brewers stymie Junior Caminero & co in the World Series? #brewers #milwaukee #thisismycrew
I hate takes like this. The Brewers get lumped into the likes of the Rays/Guardians in terms of cheap payrolls but good teams but they are consistently right around 20th in payroll despite being the smallest market.
bob nutting seeing the brewers make the world series and sending rob manfred a text going "so why do we need to let the have a salary floor, again?"
Reminder that they were picked 18th in the team fun draft this spring. They won 103 games and it was the most fun 6 months of baseball I've ever experienced.
Sitting here getting irrationally (or is it?) annoyed at @benlindbergh.bsky.social and @megrowler.fangraphs.com for passing on the Brewers over and over and over again in the “fun team” draft. Like, the Rangers? REALLY?
Wisconsin had a 96% post game win expectancy yesterday. They throughly dominated PSU and only had to comeback because of the picks that lead to 10 points.
LOWEST POSTGAME WIN EXPECTANCY IN A WIN, WEEK 4: Iowa > Michigan 7.3%, lol Army > Temple 24.5% Air Force > Nevada 25.0% Tulane > So Miss 45.0% Iowa: least likely win of the year so far ALL GAMES: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...
