Ngl, something hits different about seeing 3 books on my author page instead of 2😊 #authorsky #booksky

Sparkly problematique, reminiscent of generative AI🤔

Just a week to go before the release of the sweetest sci-fi romance ever written. Where the future is bright, full of genuine romantic connections & no one could possibly want to travel to the past & stop those responsible🧡 ...okay so most of that is a lie, the book is coming out on Nov 2nd though!

We've got a whole little eco system in the garden, hedgehogs eating the food Chirpy doesn't get to🦔

Checking over 25,000 words in the next 24 hrs is doable right? That's just a little over 1000 words an hour with no sleep and the work week looming. It'll be fine, yeah? #writersky #authorsky #booksky

The heist of the century!

My Sci-Fi Action Romance Comedy, Constant State is out on November 2nd.🎉 It's about awkward university students navigating finding love, with only a non-binary synthetic sent by their future-selves to protect them.🤖 It's available for pre-order on Amazon right now at this link: a.co/d/00jTfZER

Chirpy is not happy with me for editing at all hours of the day and night😿 #authorsky #catsky

I keep going viral for the stupid stuff I post in between crunching to go over everything for my book release after working on it for 7 years, when I really just want the fact that I'm releasing a new book after 2 years to be the thing that goes viral🥲 #authorsky #booksky

It's been pointed out to me that it's probably better that the book comes out after November 1st to help with paydays, in case people are stressing about getting a charge on October 30th. I moved the release date to the 2nd of November to make it easier for everyone to pre-order with peace of mind.☺️

I'm sick of people telling me that I need to set boundaries like it's easy. All the time I say to people "I have to go soon" "I'm busy" "I'm going now" and they still keep talking to me. No one listens, and then they always put it on me to actively shut someone out who is trying to engage with me.😖

For anyone wondering if Constant State is all Romcom and no Sci-fi, here is Angela reflecting on the nature of time travel and the pitfalls of trying to safeguard a future outcome, all the events that make up who we are and what we become.⏳ It's available for pre-order at this link: a.co/d/00jTfZER

In a related note to a previous post, today I learned that 'gloopy' and 'gloppy' are both actually words in the English language, but relate to slightly different consistencies of viscose fluids😄

Any guesses what my lunch is today?

Chirpy's face when she spotted the squirrel. She stayed like that for a good three minutes!😹

Got a wee curious visitor this morning, I think he can smell my nuts! (Get your mind out of the gutter!😜)

When you're on the run from anti-tech assailants and looking for supplies, stuffy yuppies are good company to keep!💼👔 #wipwednesday #booksky My Sci-Fi Action Romance Comedy, Constant State is out on October 30th.🎉 It's available for pre-order on Amazon right now at this link: a.co/d/00jTfZER

Just like that, Constant State has crossed 100k words🥲 Who knows how many will be added before the deadline on the 30th since I can't seem to stop! 😆 At least you know you'll get more bang for your buck if you've been one of the 10 of the best who have pre-ordered a copy so far!🧡 amzn.eu/d/0fTupYZy

Giving some classic librarian vibes this #monochromemonday

Back in the library store again for the first time in ages It's much spookier in here now with the wind blowing heavily outside, also I swear I just saw a bat flying above the stacks, still got time to pose & post though. Just hope I don't become a librarian thirst trap for real!🧛🦇⚰️

Spent the first part of my morning detangling these pumpkin lights for someone at work. Managed to do it for them, but they didn't actually light up, & the packaging basically says "these aren't going to work as lights btw", they will make nice Halloween appropriate baubles for them though I guess!🎃

Chirpy tries to be beefed with me for being away at work all day, but they cannot hide their Blep nature once they are snoozing🥲

Sometimes when you are discovering yourself and hesitant over every little thing, someone being an ally can come in the worst and weirdest of forms🩷💜💙 My Sci-Fi Action Romantic Comedy, Constant State releases on 30th October, pre-order it now at a discounted rate here: amzn.eu/d/02XdC40N

Just learned that the writer of Paris, Texas also wrote Chainsaw Massacre 2, and I kind of love that😄

We need to depopilarize the idea that knowing yourself is an easy thing to do. I'm 40 and I learn new things about myself every day, and I still don't know how to style my hair. Knowing yourself is a constant struggle, you're doing fine!🧡

Drop a meme that describes your writing process

Authors, pitch your book using only your cover and genre. Here’s mine: Action Sci-fi Rom-com

It's so grey and cold now outside that I've actually had to put a jumper on and look like an actual librarian for once. Not cool weather, not cool.

When you are trying to lose your virginity, but your cybernetic nanny is being far too overprotective!😬 My Sci-Fi Action Romance Comedy, Constant State is releasing on 30th October, pre-order it now at a discounted rate here: amzn.eu/d/02XdC40N

Campus really is lovely when the sun is out and no students are about. It's a shame we are heading into the new term and the winter months😢

Balance has been restored with Ferryman and his wife, however, I think in giving them extra snacks to bring them together I have attracted more crow attention than I am ready for!🖤🐦‍⬛😬

Every book should have clocks and an octopus in them, many even, clocktopi!🕰️🐙

Haven't stopped since I got in today, with the new term the book requests have gone a bit mad. Gotta go fast!🦔 #librarysky #booksky

As the resident book repair librarian, this is the type of note I find on my desk a lot, it's a high stakes, high pressure role!📖 #booksky #librarysky

Came into my library desk and office being decorated like this, I love it!👻🧡 #librarysky #spookyseason #halloween

My crow familiar Ferryman walks a lonely road without his wife this morning, the only road that I have ever known🥲🖤

Your boy is outside for the first time in 10 days, actually feel okay to go to work today🙌 I'm wishing you a crisp and sweet Friday, that's golden delicious🧡...sorry, I was just eating an apple on my way😄

Chirpy sleeps with one claw open in case she has to leap to my defence at a moment notice, my legal defence!😼

A year on and Constant State is now ready to pre-order on zon & ku for the end of the month! If you want realistic introverted dating and Neurodivergent love, as well as some time travelling terminator action, give it a go!

Tonight's spooky season viewing: perhaps the most generically titles cheap movie I have ever encountered!

Meeting someone who wants you to change who you are to be with them in a way they deem "better", and is less attracted to you when you assert that you like who you are already, is a massive red flag🚩🚩🚩

If every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings, I hope that every time a guy makes a creepy comment, a safe falls on them.

Thank you to the big 10 people who have pre-ordered so far! Right now Constant State is at the 130 spot in Scifi books about &roids, robots and AI, and 134 in LGBTQ+ Horror, which is pretty awesome! You can still pre-order your own copy at a discounted rate before October 30th here: a.co/d/08EoMNiJ

It's been a bad month, but I still vow to become the best James Wright someday! #monochromemonday

I said put your hands up Chirpy, don't give me none of that cat rizz!😼

We're going cheap early 00s TV movie tonight since that's all I can muster for day 11 of the spooky season watch.🧜
