#lithodgepodge 22 This was fun! And somehow I think I got both sisters love interests bang on. Riley- 🐕 (Good), 🦜 (Bad), Zach is the definition of loyalty and devotion and backs up everything with action. Aria- 🐅 (Good), 🐢 (Bad), Cady is a witty force of nature and fits these descriptions to a T.

#lithodgepodge 21 Hopefully a good example of this! In this scene I also play with pronouns, in that the more entwined my MC becomes with the entity inside her, the more it shifts to "They" instead of "She".

#lithodgepodge 20 It's not in the list here, but alien hive mind is a bit of a trope in science fiction that I lean on. In this case, the twist comes in that the part of the hive mind involved gains a level of independence and becomes a pseudo-ally of sorts.

#lithodgepodge 19 Aria- Her militia rifle. It represents stability, and is a symbol of her dedication to her training and skill. It also allows her to protect those she loves. Riley- The nanites in her head, they were created by her mother and allowed her to transition into who she is.
