The purpose of life is to spread the wealth; not horde it. We are all one.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $8 trillion. The entire bottom 50% of American households is worth just $4.27 trillion. Read that back. Remember: Wealth can’t be separated from power. Power begets wealth and wealth begets power.

So true. And Republicans want more teenage mothers—then abandon them to lives of poverty, with no childcare, healthcare, affordable housing, or food assistance. Then they call them “welfare queens.” While @jamestalarico.bsky.social sees corporations who don’t pay taxes as the real welfare queens

“For Republicans, life begins at conception but ends at birth.” .. (quote J. Adam Snyder) .. (cartoon Nick Anderson)

Want to know the damage caused by the leaders of the Republican Party and their 2025 manifesto? Go here. They want to classify our librarians as sex offenders if certain books remain in their libraries. This is not my United States. #VoteBlue to bring our country back to #PeopleOverProfits

peoplefor.orgThe Project 2025 PresidencyPeople For the American Way breaks down the horrors of Project 2025 and explains why we must fight to prevent its frightening policies from being passed.

Find a ballot drop box to #VoteByMail not USPS

Drew Webb 🏳️‍🌈@archeryfan93.bsky.social

Postmaster General has said there are ways he WILL block mail-in ballots, so... The minute you get your ballot, fill it out and take it to the nearest drop box, usually near libraries. Do NOT mail your ballot through USPS! Find a BALLOT DROP BOX only !!!! Please copy this and share on your feed.

Kroger, which wants to buy yet ANOTHER grocery chain: -Ranks among the largest companies with employees dependent on Medicaid & SNAP -Paid its CEO $14M last year, 417x its median worker's pay of just $34,552 -Spent $12.3B on stock buybacks since 2019 This is what corporate greed looks like.

Exactly. The poor are not our enemies

Wolf Hour@wolfhour.bsky.social

"No business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country. By living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level - I mean the wages of decent living." .. (Franklin. D. Roosevelt) ..(cartoon Nick Anderson)

What’s with the republicans convincing the U.S. that the poor are our enemy? The poor in our country use up much less of our resources than the 2% but are much larger in numbers.

I missed trumpf threatening the Pope. How disgusting.

Texas Paul@realtexaspaul.com

So much insanity comes out of the Trump Regime it's hard to keep track, but don't forget they threatened Pope Leo's life.

“Some of the steepest cuts have fallen on a part of the Agriculture Department responsible for improving the economy and infrastructure in rural communities, leading to long delays in aid for residents and charities alike.” $5B more being cut from farmers and ranchers. Let’s get whole again voteblue

nytimes.comFarmers Struggle to Get Basic Services From Depleted Agriculture Dept. After the departure of thousands of federal workers, rural communities report problems obtaining loans, grants, technical assistance and support for infrastructure and other services.

Good question.

Being Liberal ®🗽🏳️‍🌈@beingliberal.bsky.social

Native American environmental activist, author, and economist Winona LaDuke has long said: "Someone needs to explain to me why wanting clean drinking water makes you an activist, and why proposing to destroy water with chemical warfare doesn’t make a corporation a terrorist."

“We have a president now who's there solely to enrich himself, his family, and his cronies, and to wield power in a way that satisfies his basest instincts. We need people to come out and vote against that. That is the -- that is the guardrail.” #VoteBlue

I hope this is true

TOTAL RESET IN D.C.! Attention has shifted to Article II, Section 4 (of the U.S. Constitution): IMPEACHMENT! A Demand to Remove Donald Trump, His Vice President, and the Entire Cabinet in One Sweeping Legal Action. We Don’t Want Successors to the Chaos! We Demand Accountability! WE DEMAND JUSTICE!

Unbelievable that our congressional republicans work for trump and his donors. Vote Blue to get out this nightmare

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

Trump’s national socialism is concentrating ever more power in Trump’s hands — and helping to line the pockets of the super-rich along the way. Some thoughts... https://robertreich.substack.com/p/trumps-state-socialism

There is enough for everyone. Scarcity is a republican scare tactic that seems to be working.

Scott Galloway@profgalloway.com

In Sweden, you get German industrialization, Silicon Valley innovation, and Bernie Sanders-like social policies. It can all peacefully coexist.

Pretty funny, but mostly sad

Decoding Fox News@decodingfoxnews.bsky.social

A Trump quote without his voice or face: Trump without Trump. The quote is unedited and 100% accurate. This is from the Small Business Summit on May 4, 2026. The Polls are Fake (This is one of my top five and I've made 60 of these) 🤣

What is he afraid of?

Constitution Rick@rick7wd.bsky.social

This is the trump administration. The racist, misogynistic, treasonous, criminal trump administration! They gotta go! And the law of the land rewritten to prevent another trump like person from ever holding any kind of office in America every again.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

This has been the GOP's "starve-the-beast" scheme for nearly 50 years. Meanwhile, millions suffer and struggle to get ahead as the rich get richer. See the problem here?
