This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

This is a bigger issue than people realize. Not just jobs lost. But their families losing benefits. Landlords losing tenants. Cities and towns losing revenue. This is how recessions start Ready Fire Aim is no way to govern.

More accurate, fewer words; "There are plenty of contractors going under". A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary. PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.

#Voices4Victory #DemVoice1 Y’all ask, “What can we do?” Lots! 👇 Boycott as a United front. Get in the face of every elected Republican when they are out of their homes! Embarrass them. Throw facts at them! Make the news by showing our power! Vote Blue. Be loud! Support the Democratic Party!

this is what you call letting it rip. bravo, @briantylercohen.bsky.social.

"If the GOP could pull Trump’s dick out of their mouths long enough for the oxygen to return to their brains, they might see how batshit crazy it is to run a govt like this... But that would require a spine and these Republicans have the collective courage of a baby deer caught in a 6-lane highway."

My bet is that the Musk Rats chewing on our Treasury files are also collecting material from Trump’s first term. This stuff can easily be massaged into a gigantic scandal, as we have seen. As long as Trump gives what he wants, Trump is safe. If not, not.

Jon Cooper@joncooper-us.bsky.social

Spot on.

Democrat leaders should be creating a spectacle every single day. They should be personalizing the hurt that Musk is causing! Make real Americans like ourselves see and feel what he is doing. He and his MuskRATS are working OT nonstop to move fast and break things before it’s too late to stop them.

When Congress people protest, Americans listen. Especially if they refuse to leave (unlike the way the dems left the dept of education building) and end up getting arrested! America must be awakened and incited to protest this destruction. BTW Musk is down in the polls from 53% to 39% approval.

Our Democratic Congress members should be working 24/7 to save our democracy. Time is of the essence. We are in a crisis. Where are there bull horns that should be screaming every day to the American public about what’s happening to our democracy!?!??!??? They’re taking a four day weekend!! Lame!!!

Murphy: "That's just fancy talk to say, 'we're gonna give money to people who pledge loyalty to Trump, and we're not gonna give money to people who don't pledge loyalty.' Today it may be government contracts, but tomorrow it may be your tax refund."

Remember when Trump called for "termination" of the Constitution in 2022? The New York Times played it on Page 13. Now that Trump's "termination" is happening, I wonder if the Times' editors have any regrets for years of normalization and "both sides" framing that comforted the would-be dictator.

Vigilantes Inc - America's New Vote Suppression Hitmen (2024) This is a fascinating and frightening documentary about voter suppression. It’s so much worse than we thought and so important. Covers 2000 Mules also. Everyone, please watch this and share it!

Sure, let's have more trickle down Trump & GOP Congress- it works great - for the billionaires that you work for and want to be! ("Trickle down" started with the Regan era and has been an epic failure delivering nothing but extreme income inequality ever since.)

Part 1: Trump initially wanted to ban TikTok, (he said it was for national security, but more likely he was angry that 1 million or so TicTokers banded together to reserve tickets to an Oklahoma rally in 2020 with no intention of showing up). Part 2: SCOTUS votes 9:0 to ban for national

security. Part 3: TikTok users are frustrated and heartbroken when TikTok goes dark. Part 4: hmm if I save TikTok, a) it’s 170 million US users will love me, b) I can control even more of the media by arranging a deal with a billionaire who’ll censor anti Trump content, and c) I’ll make

a ton of money! Everyone will love me, I’ll gain tremendous loyalty on the platform, I really WILL be able to shoot someone on fifth Avenue and get off scott free. Oh wait, I already can do that thanks to SCOTUS. I can’t lose on this one! (PT Barnum at his best).

I’m so disappointed in the GOP senators. I so hoped they’d do their job - do what’s best for the American people. Garland failed us. SCOTUS failed us and showed their true colors. The no-show democrat voters failed us. I was wishing for the senate to save us. Now it’s up to God - help us!

Ridiculous. Shameless. They just lie to their audience night after night and mislead them during every natural disaster and every mass shooting. Fox KNOWS that this is the max allowed just for the initial emergency payments to cover immediate needs like food & fuel.

Classic Biden moment.. Reporter asks “who [takes/gets] credit for this Mr. President? You or Trump?” He stops, turns, smiles, and says, “Is that a joke?” 😁 #ceasefiredeal

Just saw an interview by No Labels with Sen Lisa Murkowski (R) expressing Trump‘s insistence that all Republicans “toe the line” to keep their jobs. Do they work for Trump or We the People? Who elected them? Who pays their salary? What’s their job description? Hello Hegseth, Gabbert, & Patel Sick!

Trump betrayed his voters. Does the average Trump voter own Bitcoin? Did they want protections by our agencies to be dismantled via “DOGE”? Did they vote for deregulation of consumer protections against anticompetitive practices, worker health and safety rules, environmental safeguards, etc. by

sees the power and $$ his deals with them will provide. He’s trying to fill his cabinet with loyalists regardless of how grossly unqualified and completely devoid of morals (ie: sexual predators, and authoritarian apologists) they are. Is any of this what voters

wanted or deserve? He isn’t even in office yet and it’s crystal clear that at every turn he is betraying the very people who voted for him in favor of himself and his super rich cronies. Can you say “Oligarchy”?

The tally of the House of Representatives was finalized yesterday with the win by CA Dem Adam Grey. In the end the Democrats flipped 2 seats shrinking the GOP majority 220 vs 215. Hopefully this makes it harder for MAGA Mike Johnson to help Jabba the Hutt destroy our economy and our democracy.

Yep...you know who will use this to excuse Trump...the fucking pundits and journalists. He never has needed excuses. He has made pardoning the January 6th mob a campaign promise from day one but now the punditry and oh so neutral press will say "well...Biden pardoned his son..."

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Takes like this are nuts. How did Trump justify his last couple hundred pardons, one more nakedly obscene, political and personal than the next? Answer - he didn’t. Trump doesn’t bother justifying or explaining anything He does what he wants. Always has, always will. Wake up.
