Since the details were a couple deep in the last repost: for all the indie devs out there running it, dopresskit / presskit() is a php app and you probably want to figure out a replacement or take your presskit sites down until it's updated.

Probably not the time to point out that dopresskit is php.

Every time I see someone post "AI is good at code, actually" I try to resolve that against my experience with the AI-generated code I've had to review, and then that person's future opinions get discarded as coming from a complete fucking idiot.

My big issue with this (not the EFF guide, but the general problem) is that you have to "opt out" of having all your work shoved into the slop extruding machine pretty much everywhere.

By default, most companies that make chatbots and other AI software collect and use your data for AI training. But you can opt out of that training. www.eff.org/pages/i-wan...

I really love how you can't really promote the projects you're working on anymore because any images you post or any demos you might release will get fed into the AI theft machine and stolen to make slop.

Sam Altman said people are just gonna have to die in order to implement AI. In the very same week, Anthropic claimed it’s a human rights violation to be mean to the computer. These people need to be held accountable. They think lines of code are a person with rights but living people are debris.
