Carrick given proper send off but fans know the inevitable is coming. He was in over his head. After Carrick in tunnel, immediate boos for the players. Spoke volumes. Not sure what manager will make it any better. Nothing changes until the club is sold. #glazersout

Feels a lot like where Liverpool were in 2010 - garbage owners, on brink of bankruptcy, despite winning a cup once in a while. Ownership were forced out through High Court in London. Only THEN did the rebuild start.

It is irrelevant what manager takes over, players we sign, or even a new football director - NOTHING changes unless the Glazers are forced out. Nobody is free of blame - poor tactics, effort, recruitment, lack of signings. But it ALL starts at the top. Shout it from the rooftops. GLAZERS OUT

We know all that already, but always, always keep the focus on the Glazers. They’re still there. It’s all on them.

Last month we lost our jobs. This month we made new ones. Introducing X BUTTON: an independent gaming network from three ex-IGN employees. A new weekly Nintendo podcast! A new weekly video game podcast! And that’s just the start, but we can’t do it without your help! www.patreon.com/cw/XButtonShow

Benjamin Sesko has 10 goals in his last 17 PL appearances, averaging a goal every 74 minutes. Florian Wirtz has 18 goal contributions from 54 appearances for Liverpool, after signing for a total package of £116 million. One isn't good enough, and the other needs more time. 👌🏻

Only halfway reasonable takes I’ve seen so far. Every match won, “We’re winning the title”, every match lost, “we’re shite, fire manager” etc etc. But that’s what the internet is for, I suppose 🤷🏻‍♂️

Addressing the initial elephant in the room: £83 million for a midfield duo of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans reads a hell of a lot better than £85m for a 22-year-old with financial motivations. ✍️🏻 for @theatre-of-red.bsky.social

theatre-of-red.comManchester United close in on Youri TielemansYouri Tielemans represents a welcome surprise at a time when Michael Carrick requires complete support at Manchester United

Definitely plan to fly back across the pond this next season so I can take my daughter to a match at OT before they tear it down. 😢

Just watch Thierry Henry once Lalas is done

Adam Vann@adamvann.bsky.social

I assume you’re already hard at work at the clip of Zlatan calling Lalas ignorant and Henry’s reaction but holy shit that was incredible

Manchester United are utterly destroying a Brighton side with aspirations of European qualification. Let's see if the naysayers remember to highlight that energy about Michael Carrick and his inability to lead a Premier League side at the final whistle.

Despite low possession, good tactics in my opinion, despite the two mistakes. Stay compact in back, let them pass around, wait for mistake, and punish with counter. We almost had a few more goals. Remove those two mistakes and that would have been a complete humiliation for scousers.

The Premier League's weekly inconsistencies in officiating are so tiring. The world knew who Pierluigi Collina was because he was the king, and he deserved respect. We should not know the names of a dozen or more English referees.

Manchester United excelled since the turn of the year. But they have improved their return on the same 10 fixtures by 9 points from last season. Michael Carrick has been in charge for 22 of these. What we are seeing is the definition of nailing the interview. @flashscore.com
