If our 17 year old centre back hadn't got rolled when Mosquera (who hasn't played in 58 days) jumped out to press, we win that game, no worries. They got 1 chance, took it, then defended for their lives. Shouldn't be about margins that small, I get it. But I'm relaxed about the performance.

You can guarantee that Max will be dragged into the training ground to watch clips on repeat of players being subject to rough treatment. Saka is a great example, he knows how to ride the challenge and then work the referee, he didn't at 16.

Shouldn't have reacted like that but he's been on the end of late and dangerous tackles all game, not to mention the constant shirt pulls and grappling. He's 16 years old, he's still learning.

Surprised that goal has been given, considering the 6'3 centre back flying into the goalkeeper as he's attempting to punch it clear, not even close to the ball either.

Absolutely shameless, zero contrition, they are laughing at the rest of the Premier League with a squad built on fraudulent success. Relegation isn't close to a strong enough punishment.

In #MathsToday my busiest teaching day of the week. Y2 #ALevelMaths - Trigonometric Modelling using the Harmonic Form GCSE Resit - Exam Paper Practice Y2 #ALevelMaths - Trigonometric Modelling using the Harmonic Form GCSE Resit - Sequences

Incredible that Suella Braverman apparently opposed everything that the Conservative party did that has turned out to be bad but she "wasn't listened to".

In #MathsToday my #ALevelMaths students were introduced to the Compound Angle Formulae and then pretty quickly we got to work applying them in some Harmonic Form questions.

In all the uproar and reporting about Man City being found guilty of 114 actual breaches of financial regulations, we mustn't forget, Mikel Arteta sometimes steps out of his technical area. I think we all know who the real villain is...

Not much #MathsToday but managed to visit some other A Level lessons as part of my role as a Lead Practitioner within my Sixth Form College, looking for excellent practice to spotlight. Managed to see History, Sociology, Film Studies and Art today. More tomorrow and Friday!

Lovely day of #ALevelMaths in #MathsToday, introducing the reciprocal trig functions to my Y2 classes as well as the accompanying Pythagorean identities. Always enjoy the opportunity to make the class cringe with "The one with a tan is sexy" and "The one in the cot is cosy".

In #MathsToday my #ALevelMaths Y2 students did some work on combined transformations of functions. We have the first assessment of the year coming up on Thursday and then starting Trigonometry next week! Solid start to the year from both classes, expectations are high for this cohort.

vs Coventry - Dominated possession and territory vs Villa - Wore them down, scored and then controlled it vs Chelsea - Transitional game, bounced back from conceding early goal vs Sunderland - Physical game against a well organised low(ish) block You don't win the Premier League playing one way.

Regis Le Bris, "I didn't see the penalty action". Every time a decision was made he ran to a little screen on his bench to watch it immediately. There is absolutely no chance that he hasn't watched it at least 10 times.
