We’ve been building a lot of our own tools lately instead of reaching for existing projects, and it’s got me wondering what that means for open source. What’s still worth sharing? jdno.dev/whats-still-...
I'm trying @raycast.com's dictation feature. Started out great, then randomly translated the recordings to Dutch despite me talking in English? 🤨
What's the state of the art for automatic speech recognition these days? I've been using superwhisper.com for ages, but would love to know if there's different/better apps out there!

I'm very excited about TUF-based signing! Will finally allow us to securely mirror Rust releases and crates. Plus it'll generally harden Rust's supply chain security. 🫶

Very late to the party, but this was such a nice read. Feels even more relevant now that AI enables even non-technical folks to create their own apps. www.robinsloan.com/notes/home-c...

Found an old #SoundCloud account of mine and it's a wild blast from the past to listen to the songs I liked 15 years ago. Happy to report that this is still the greatest mixtape ever made: soundcloud.com/theglitchmob...
